For me, it is much easier to frame this work as a practice of loving devotion rather than as a price to pay. I've been sitting with this idea that love is something freely given, and to pay for it, to make it transactional, is impure, pollutive. My calling is apparently to sit with people and love them, hold space, guide, support... every person I sit with, I have a relationship with, and I've been struggling with the idea of charging money for that. For now, at least, I've settled on a suggested donation. Before, as I've looked at all the effort required to be in loving romantic partnership, I felt resentful, because it felt like a burden, like a price to entry. I've been doing the work anyway, of course. The idea of doing this work as an act of loving devotion, however, removes nearly all resistance I have around it. I actually look forward to making friends with all the goblins that the divine mirror uncovers. 🥰🙏🏼

I think I missed the part where the intimacy is broken 🏳️🌈

Cut the bs and interview 5 couples who have been living a relationship like your talking and let's follow up after 8 years. Truth doesn't fear investigation.

You don't think what he's saying works? Or is it you believe it's not possible? I'm not yet in a romantic partnership and able to practice this there, but I've certainly been practicing openness, awareness, careful communication, and many of the other things he's speaking about, and it has led to some really amazing and beautiful experiences. 🙏🏼❤
