Not that I want to get rid of Clarice, but since it’s so many years later and Julie is still voice acting, if she didn’t want to return to the screen, they could have a letter from Clarice or an old diary of hers that gets passed on to Mia, maybe about raising her own daughter as a princess, or even given to a daughter directly. There are ways they could keep her spirit in the movie without her physical presence.

After the sequel to Indiana Jones and the Star Wars sequels, I shudder to think what Disney might do to this universe. Princess Diaries 2 ended with a high note, so I am hoping they don't do a sequel. If they do another movie, I hope it's great like the first two. If not, it can be disregarded like Mummy 3. After 20 years I don't understand why there should be a seqeul. It would be better for Disney to bring out some new fresh movies with young fresh actors.

My daughter is two, but I am so excited to see this with her. If Julie Andrews is in it, I believe that it’ll be a small minor role. It will not be a main rule like she has in the past few. It might be a FaceTime with grandma kind of thing as opposed to in the movie and I think that would be good because it is, a new age where the clean has been in there for a long period of time she’s raining now hurts I don’t know child time to start coming in. Who knows what’s going on.

Mia is the queen by birth her grandmother married to the family. Like for example queen Elizabeth 2 was the monarch but her mother Queen Elizabeth married into the family and got the title of queen concert because she was married to the king. Mia's dad was the heir of that country in the movie but is dead in the movies. It's a little different in the books. I hope that info was helpful but I agree with you it would be nice to have Andrew's in the movie

I imagine the tragic low point would have to be queen Claris’s passing, and if Julie doesn’t return, the movie may hung on that within the first 20-30 minutes, they could really take a lot from what the actually royal family had to go through when promenade family members died.

I never even knew they were books lol. The Princess Diaries is the first movie I ever saw Anne Hathaway in. Then she became the amazing star she is today. I love that I share a birthday with her lol! The problem is for book was directly almost perfectly stolen from a television show known as scarecrow and Mrs King and his particular episode in that call the boy who would be king... Down to the line where the Young Prince says to his father how come I've never heard of your kingdom and he said oh they sent me a thing to put it in the encyclopedia but I never got around to it or something like that and the same words literally I don't remember exactly but at the time I did remember the words word for word from that scene and that episode and it's word for word in The Princess diaries the only difference between the princess diaries and that episode of scarecrow and Mrs King I mean she's filled it out a lot more than the episode would have allowed but still the difference is she's made it a princess a girl instead of a boy but everything else is pretty much the same down to the father believing he's terminal because of a tumor... The difference being in scarecrow and Mrs King it turns out it's not a tumor it's his overhead indulgence in certain vitamins which can cause the same symptoms as that of a tumor, and can kill you.

Between you and the walls I don't expect the Julie Andrews will be in it nor do I expect Chris Pine but it would be interesting if he does appear I'm not holding my breath because frankly the whole concept is a bit far-fetched to begin with and secondly I read the first book and it really was in fact plagiarism but you know what I don't suppose anybody realize that it was plagiarism because it came from a television show from the 1980s, and because the character was female as opposed to male I suppose they wouldn't have thought of it as plagiarism either.

Since 20 years have passed since PD2 came out I feel like a good storyline would be to focus on Mia and Nicholas’s kids. Like it opens on their kid’s 16 birthday which means that by SURPRISE Genovinan Law (or whatever - this is a Disney movie! lol) the Queen and King must name their oldest child as their heir apparent by a certain date or else it’ll fall to the second oldest or something and blah blah (the driving plot of the movie) but PLOT TWIST - they had triplets (Because it’s the Princess Diaries 3 😆). So now they have 1 year (by the triplets 17th birthday) to figure out which one of their children they’re going to bestow the honor and burden of the crown on to. I feel like this will Mia a real struggle as both a mother and a queen, it’ll get parliament involved - a great way to bring back all those actors - it’ll give us fun Princess (or Prince) lesson as a fun call back to the PD1 with Mia taking on the Queen Clarice role. It’ll give us a great Queen Mia/ Former Queen Clarice heart to heart moment when Mia struggles to figure out which of her children she should name as heir where Clarice reminds her that being a good Queen is much like being a good mother you have to remember to find the balance between leading with you’re head and you’re heart, but most of all reminding her to not make the same mistakes she did with Mia’s father and push away her children like she did. (Because in a regular old Disney twist the most obvious choice for heir apparent doesn’t actually want to be Queen (or king, but I feel like we should go Queen here lol) of Genovia - they want to be a veterinarian or a musician or a painter like their grandmother (Mia’s Mom), but they’re afraid of letting their mom down, so they don’t say anything (and we as the audience get to enjoy some good ol’ teenage ANGST! lol while the least obvious choice for the future Queen or King of Genovia actually wants it the most (bonus points if they’re just like Mia was at that age - frizzy haired and timid with two left feet 😆- oh Mia Thermopolis how I love you! lol The third triplet was baby sat by Lily too much and has grown into a total activist (mostly because I think this would make me laugh 😂 ). Anyway they can call it The Princess Diaries 3: Heir NOT Apparent If you’ve read this incredibly long (self indulgent) post - Thank you so much! And what are your thoughts on what the plot for PD3 could be?
