Johor Sultanate can be consider as the richest Royals house in malaysia..their family has significant influence over state economy and land ownership in Johor...but still cannot beat Brunei Royals or Thai royals family..they are damn rich af....

Sultan mean The Muslim king that rule over muslim majority territory....it just a different title but same position...but different from Chaliph title that mean "the successor of the prophet Muhammad,”... Chaliph is Sultan of All sultan for muslim world ... @@hirohunter2314 And also to help defend Sarawak from foreign power, between the year (1862-1887) until Sarawak signed an agreement to be a British protectorate state while still retaining it's independent status (Article 1 of the Agreement). From there, Sarawak Ranger range of services only limited for internal use only until in 1941. After ww2, Sarawak become British crown colony after the Rajah choose to abdicate from his throne and did not give the throne to the rightful heir that is his brother or his nephew.

@@hirohunter2314 In 1939 on the outbreak of World War II, Sarawak Government signed a proclamation ending Sarawak's trade with Nazi Germany. In 1941, Sarawak Ranger also did served in WW2 defending Sarawak from the Japanese invasion including Sarawak armed Constabulary, Sarawak Marine Service department and Other Volunteers body.

JMF is not Sultan's private army, Kerajaan Johor already exist before Malaysia so it already have an army unit. Kerajaan Johor is still around and functioning so do the army.

This is not true. The JMF were maintained as specied in the Johor state constitution. The Federal government got no power what so ever to ban the existence of the JMF.

I see many State institution in sabah Sarawak still using the words negeri instead of wilayah...for example...Pejabat negeri , Jabatan perhilitan negeri Sarawak, jabatan mufti negeri Sabah and many more still using negeri instead of wilayah...not like in KL for example Jabatan Mufti wilayah Persekutuan..not using negeri Kuala-Lumpur...

Before the formation of Federated Malay State in 1896 (by 4 founding states, Selangor, Perak, Negeri Sembilan and Pahang), each of states in Malaysia were actually separate countries and kingdoms. So each kingdoms have their administration ,as well as their own military. So, when The FMS evolved into Federation of Malaya (in 1948) and then Malaysia Federation (in 1963) and become a 'united kingdoms', many of the existing kingdoms in The Federation disband their own armed forces, including Pahang Royal Guards, Askar Kelantan, and even British's Sarawak Ranger and North Borneo (Sabah) Border Guard . Except of Johore. I think , these State Military Forces should be relive again where every states in Malaysia Federation should have their own state military for state defence and state emergency. It could be the 3rd layer defence to support the Federation Armed Forces which is the Malaysia Armed Forces (Regular) and The WATANIAH(reserves). Just like some states in USA that have State Defence Forces (SDF).
