"My body, my choice." It's one of the most common claims used to defend abortion. But what about the bodily rights of the preborn baby? In this video, Kirsten Watson explains how to respond to "My Body, My Choice" and reinforce the pro-life argument for the most vulnerable members of society.

This women has no right to talk about abortion because she’s never been in a situation we’re it was called for she never had to make a hard decision that to take care of the kids she has now she had to terminate a pregnancy she will never know there fore she shouldn’t speak badly about it but she does have her own rights she shouldn’t tear other women down from her statuteru of prevlidge it is gross and disgusting that she could sit there and knock women down for their own human rights she has no idea of the situations the mother is in your whole channel is a disgrace y’all should really be banned like grow the fuck up and understand women have rights

Live Action ~ I agree with almost everything she says. The part about “pinning child support on fathers for 18 years” furthers the courts’ significant imbalance in custody cases. Courts favor mothers in the majority of custody cases regardless of how fit to parent she is while ignoring the importance of a father in the child’s life for AT LEAST an equal amount of time. Fathers have a much more important role in raising children rather than only being an ATM and being “allowed” every other weekend visits. “Put him on child support for 18 years” is an ignorant and biased statement

Unfortunately what's lost on the abortion debate on both sides is the permanent emotional harm to the woman! Countless women were told not to worry, abortion is just as routine and safe as getting a filling. That may be true for early term abortions, but the farther along, the more gruesome the reality becomes!

why pro lifers should shut the fuck up - a guide for the absent-minded and hypocrites - no one is being murdered, retrieving a clump of cells from a body isn't murder. sure, it would have been an potential life, however it isn't - "but there is a heartbeat at seven weeks' ' the clump of cells isn't even fully formed yet, it doesn't have any limbs or genitals, it isn't an person. stop thinking with your emotions. - now let's invent someone, someone who isn't a minor, doesn't have health issues, and wasn't sexually assaulted. someone who simply wasn't ready or did not want a child. - let's say the person who carries the baby goes through with the pregnancy, a life changing event: they will go through months of pain, tumultuous hormones changes that will affect their lives forever, and much more. - after a few months, the baby is arriving! the carrier will have to go through hours of painful labour (where they might die must i add) in order to deliver the baby! what a beautiful moment, right? - this is where most of you will stop. no regard for the baby, or the person who delivered. suddenly, no one cares anymore. the baby is born, that's all that matters right! - no. these two lives are now changed forever. - lets start with the child, which most pro-lifers claim to care so much about. that kid will either end up in foster care, in an adoption center, dumped in a ditch, or with their parent. let’s evaluate each option, shall we? - foster care: ah where shall i begin. to keep it very concise: the foster care system is utterly fucked. it is not beneficial whatsover to the kids that are thrown into it. if you actually gave a single fuck about these kids, you would DO something to change the system, do something to better the lives of these kids that are being molested, raped, abused more often than not. but of course, none of you care. - adoption centers: a little better than the foster care system but still as fucked. you could make your own research about it but! wait! none of you care! how surprising! - dumped in a ditch: pretty self-explanatory - with their parent: ah the ultimate and seemingly best option! but .. it seems like you have forgotten something you silly little goose: the parent did not want that child to begin with! i wonder what that might result in... i have a few answers for you! - resentment - which causes anger - which causes abuse - that might be physical, verbal, or emotion - now you might say: "hey zion! thats not fair dude! what if they end up loving their kid" - to that i say, it is possible, however it is very rarely the case. - now that we talked about the potential child, let's talk about the few outcomes the parent might face: post-partum depression, lifelong physical changes, possible health complications - post-partum depression: - post-partum depression: ppd is a complex mix of physical, emotional, and behavioral changes that happen in some women after giving birth. according to the DSM-5, a manual used to diagnose mental disorders, ppd is a form of major depression that begins within 4 weeks after delivery. i don't know if any of you have been depressed, but it is an extremely difficult experience to go through. with a baby, it makes the experience even more difficult. but again, i doubt that any of you would care about the mother but i shall continue - lifelong physical changes: simply research physical changes after pregnancy and try to put yourself in the shoes of a person who didn't want ANY of this, having to go through it. having to watch their bodies change forever. fun ! - possible health complications: i could say so much but again, i encourage research. oh wait! pro-lifers have never heard that word in their life! silly me! - ever thought about why that person wouldn't want to have a kid? here are a few options: lack of financial support, partner left them or died or they simply were not ready for a kid - financial support: so many of you underestimate what being raised in poverty does to a person. it is traumatizing. if you actually cared about children, you would want them to grow up in a stable home - absent partner: shoutout to all the single parents, they are remarkable. however, it is incredibly hard. hard cannot begin to cover how exhausting being a parent is. - not ready for a kid: a very valid reason to get an abortion because *every child deserves a parent, but not every parent deserves a child* - not all of us are meant to be parents. - all that to say, being pro-life in inherently pathetic, selfish and hypocritical. none of you actually care about kids or the parent. stop pretending that you do.

Yes, and if you actually cared about young boys being drafted to war without their parents' or their consent, you would be advocating AGAINST it instead of "dUNkinG oN wAhmeN whO WanT tO kIlL ChildREn". Many young boys' have had their lives ruined due to being drafted to war, away from their families. Enforcing the, "it may be your body, but it isn't your choice" mindset on girls too is not what we need. Instead, we need to ensure that everyone shares an equal right to protection and rights over their bodies - unless it is a choice that impacts others drastically.

@stella While carrying and birthing a child at a young age can be challenging, destroying that life--giving up on life--brings life-long regret, guilt, and depression for the mother. Why? Because while rape is traumatic, an abortion doesn't undo that damage. It just adds more negative emotions to the young mother's feelings of helplessness, bitterness, of being a "victim" (of her rapist and society), etc., because then the focus switches to what *She* did to an innocent unborn baby. Advocating abortion for rape is executing a 100% innocent person because of the crime of his or her father; and letting the perpetrator (the rapist) off scot-free.

@cosmic cat 1111 ABORTION IS MURDER! that is why doctors and nurses all over North America are refusing to perform them. Medical technology has advanced so much in the last 10 years it has become easier to see inside of the womb. There are nurses worldwide sharing stories of seeing the babies in the womb trying to escape the tool the abortionists use to tear their limbs apart. A doctor quit one day when one of the tables was covered with limbs of babies, faces and tiny little skeletons. He threw up that day. When it comes to ABORTION over 49 percent of those abortions are performed on black girls and black women. that is millions and millions of black baby body parts torn out of their mother!!!!. And let us not forget it is celebrated and promoted by you DEMOCRATS while screaming at the PRO-LIFE REPUBLICANS calling them racists and such. Talk about the kettle being black ...hypocrites, lmao. Oh, and the excuse of WOMEN needing for an emergency is such CRAP CRAP CRAP! the percentage of those abortions are less than 1 percent. The abortions being performed are on females who did not use birth control correctly, choosing to have sex and so on. Pregnancies from RAPE is less than 1%. Very rarely is a pregnancy caused by RAPE the data is out there you fools. Abortion has NOTHING TO DO WITH WOMEN'S RIGHTS and I am nauseated at the way you evil dirty Democrats use FEMINISM as a prop for Abortion. You people are flipping EVIL! That has nothing to do with FEMINISM, it is perverse what you people are doing and saying when you idiots do not know what the hell you are talking about when you say a woman's right, barf gag, sicko. Having an abortion is like being RAPED and instruments are used to yank, arms, legs, face and etc. The females are at risk when abortions are performed, future pregnancies can be jeopardized, serious infections if every piece of the baby is not found that can cause DEATH. If I had known the real facts about ABORTIONS I would not be sitting here today regretting my decision that I made for being stupid and irresponsible, I was not forced to have sex and I am sick of you people turning women into victims which we flipping are not! Abortions cause depression, suicidal thoughts, it haunts you for the rest of your life, it never goes away. Abortions have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE FEMININE. FEMININES who support abortions are morally and ethically corrupt, making a mockery of motherhood and I pray each day that none of you sick F--- S, ever has a child. I was raised by one of you freaks and there is nothing motherly about women who support murder!! Nothing no substance, shallow, vain, immoral, perverse. These women are soulless and that is EVIL.

@cosmic cat 1111 "i doubt the women who are getting abortions are doing it because they WANT TO KILL. they don’t WANT to kill anything. they are looking out for themselves." Because they are often not aware of the fact that they are indeed killing another person due to all the pro-choice propaganda, that convinced them that a human in early stages of development is somehow not alive nor a human, which just magically changes at birth.... "do you think self defense killing is cold blooded murder?" See, everyoone can agree that abortion should be the option when mother's life is threatened by the pregnancy. However, such cases, along with instances of rape and/or incest are very rare, the vast majority of women getting abortions aren't in sme lethal danger because of their pregnancies, they decide to terminate them just because they are a mere inconvenience for them.

THEY are behind the entire abortion on demand agenda, the whole pro homosexual/anti Christian, anti family agenda, and the anti White people and culture agenda of America, Canada, England, France, Germany...in fact ALL of White, Christian, Western Europe, and all of the White, Christian, Western countries of Scandinavia. It's is NO ACCIDENT that ONLY the White Christian Western culture countries are being invaded, while Israel, Saudi Arabia, and other countries refuse to take in any of these non White invaders. Their goal is the elimination of White people, the destruction of our strong national identity, and the destruction of the family unit. While the Republican party isn't much better, and the RINOs like Mitt Romney, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, John McCain, Jeff Flake, Bob Corker, etc, are just as liberal as the liberal fascists, If you vote "democrat" THAT,i.e. open borders, global government, White genocide, abortion, homosexuality, etc...IS what you are empowering.

I personally know more non-white conservative pro-life Christians than white ones, and most people pushing socialism, communism, abortion etc. in the west are white. Most Christians who experience fierce persecution are non-whites. Do not conflate conservatism and Christianity with some sort of inherent goodness and homogeneity in white people, and harmful ideologies with an inherent badness and homogeneity in non-whites. It is my choice to give that resource to them or not, especially if that resource is my body. We wouldn’t force a mother to give her bone marrow to her 3 day old infant that will die without it. I do not think it is okay to kill a 3 month old fetus. However, I do think it is okay to evict the fetus, even if it results in their death. A woman cannot kill another person that is living inside of her, but she can choose to evict them. To me, this is a very logical way of looking at it.

@@cristinahawke As gently as possible? Don't you understand that there is no way to remove a baby as gently as possible? And please stop with the rape scenario. A man would not want the responsibility of paying child support for 18 years for a kid he didn't want with a woman he isn't even married to or living with. That is why men support abortion. Same thing with a woman, why would she want responsibility of a child of a man she won't be living with? Best way to prevent it is abstinence but that isn't going to happen, we ALL like to fornicate.

Ryan lastName I took this from an article in the Atlantic, but I think it’s relevant to your comment: If a couple has been in some sort of committed partnership-dating a while, cohabitating, married-I think that the man’s opinions and wants should be taken into consideration when it comes to abortion. Allowed to absolutely trump the woman’s? No. But if you help to create what could potentially become a human being, then you should be part of he decision to end it. Here are other aspects of the idea that abortion should be the pregnant woman’s-and only the pregnant woman’s-choice: (1) If the fathers of the fetuses are excluded from participating in an abortion decision that carries the implication that they are irrelevant. And if they are irrelevant then they are excused from any responsibility for the consequences of their actions. That’s not good for society as a whole. (2) Men and women can’t have complete equality when it comes to pregnancy because women carry children. But if women can make the choice to either be a parent or not (i.e., carry the pregnancy or not), then how is it fair that men don’t have a similar choice? How is it fair to force a man to provide financial child support if the woman he impregnated chooses to keep and rear a child? All the forgoing said: If anyone-male or female-isn’t yet ready to or doesn’t ever want to be a parent, they should take personal responsibility for buying and using effective birth control. I’m at the point where I think it would be better for society to provide birth control gratis for any adult who wants it. I think that’s the lesser evil than bringing a child into the world who isn’t wanted.

Up until around 7* weeks, that "baby" is literally a clump of cells without feeling or even a heartbeat. "My body, my choice" is not saying, "it's my body so I'm going to kill this thing growing inside me regardless of it's age," it's saying, "this is my body and I have no intention of growing a child in it." It's simple. Telling women that they shouldn't have an abortion because "life begins at conception" and "as soon as it's conceived, it's a human being with a body that is separate from your own" is both damaging and horrible on many levels. If a woman gets pregnant and is not in a position to care for that child, you're going to tell her to just get over it and let it grow inside of her, regardless of her outside conditions? What if she's abused? Will you care about her when she refuses to get an abortion, her partner leaves her and she's stranded without income because she's bedridden, in pain and sickly due to the parasite inside her that she didn't even want, but kept because you and all the other people who think that abortion makes the woman a murderer and now she's too late in her pregnancy to get an abortion because of the very restrictive abortion laws in the state she lives in. Are you going to care about that child after it's born? Are you going to care about its poor living conditions or its 1 meal a day? Yeah, I didn't think so.

If a person is talking you through an iron lung, that isn’t living independently, so does that make them dead? If a person is consciously dead on life support but the rest of their body is functioning properly, does that make them dead? If a person lost a vital organ or too much blood but is still breathing, does that make them not alive? Viability =/ life.

I would say your alive if your consciousness and dead if your not. By that I mean your dead if your consciousness cannot be recovered such as the case with brain death. If your in a coma or in the less severe case sleeping, it would be different because you can or do eventually return to a cognitive state.

@@redacted6982 All of those are examples of *loss* of viability. A person in an iron lung was perfectly independent of their mother until whatever incident lead to them needing an iron lung. The fetus who isn't viable yet hasn't lost anything because it hasn't reached that stage yet. I see the removal of a fetus at that stage like the removal of an organ. If you remove a lung from someone, that lung isn't viable. It has no existence unto itself. That doesn't mean I don't see the *potential* of life in a fetus. I just don't think a "potential" person should take precedence over the autonomy of an "actual" person. But again, that's just my opinion.

Michael Fredericks Consciousness is regarded as death by certain people, but that’s most certainly not the case with embryos. Embryos, even though they don’t have a brain developed, will develop to have one, along with the rest of their organs. So, by your definition, fetuses can gain a conscious state, so it’s considered alive because it’ll start their cognitive state (Assuming the pregnancy is successful). And the majority of medical experts disagree with the idea that consciousness = life for these reasons. 1. You can be consciously dead, but your organs can still live and function if the blood is pumped to them. 2. Your organs cannot live if your blood is not pumped to them, conscious or not. Many medical experts online determine death by the failure of properly transporting the blood to the organs, whether they have a heart or not. Overall, being able to live independently comes in many forms, including consciousness, but consciousness doesn’t mean anything if the heart blood is still being dispersed/transported to the organs needing of oxygen. Trees are consciousless, but they’re still living. Jellyfish don’t have brains/central nervous systems, but they’re still living.

Many of those babies will end up homeless or in gangs becuase they just slip through the cracks. Not to mention most people dont want to adopt they rather have biological children than adopting a teenager or a child with behavior problems. Just because youre for abortion doesnt mean you dont love your children. These women are just desperate and cant afford to miss work to go full term. The price of living has shot up and medical bills can be insanely high. Some people have to work 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet. And in my eyes, it’s the absolute worst thing that could ever happen to me. If you’re all for life, then that’s great. I hope you and your growing family have nothing but the best. However, I did not a great family, adopted life, and I’m riddled with family disease. I would rather die than let anything else ever have to go through the pain that I did. So again, if you want a family, that’s great, I’m happy for you. I hope you find happiness. But I do not want that. I never want that. I’ve felt the same way for years, my entire life. So it’s a grand idea you have, and I wish I could get behind it, but that would make me a hypocrite. There are 20 times more zygotes that were formed intentionally but die before being born than there are zygotes that were formed accidentally and were aborted. The innate collateral loss of zygotes involved with human procreation itself makes the situation non comparable to a born person. The problem with these safe havens is that children cannot get adopted straight away. It takes 2+ years for the legal processes for abandoned children, during which they have to wait in foster care. If the parents make an adoption plan, a child can be united with their forever home within days. If a birth mom gives up a newborn at the hospital, adoptive parents can take it home as soon as it’s released. If a woman abandons her baby at the hospital, it’ll get put into foster care and might not be able to get adopted till it’s 2 or 3. That’s a long time for a baby.

Also some sources say that fetus can feel pain as early as 15 weeks. That is also when they have senses such as touch, tastings, and smelling. Their hearts start beating as early as 6 weeks. Regardless of when they can feel pain or gain consciousness, it is not a justification to end human life. At the point of conception, a human life is created. If a human life is created and you take the action of ending that human life. That by definition is killing. You could make an argument that it’s not murder since it’s legal, but if we were to make abortion illegal, then yes that by law would be murder.

@@NinjaDog9123 Just to clarify: a will to live or a previous will to live is also important to me when considering personhood a person who has already lived and attained sentience and a will to live in the past is different from a fetus. That person had the will to live and would likely want to keep living after their coma. A fetus has had no previous will to live. “Fetuses gain sentience as early as 15 weeks” ok?? I would be against abortion after that point, besides certain extreme cases. This isn’t even against my argument “Their hearts are beating at 6 weeks” who cares. Beating hearts has nothing to do with sentience or a will to live. You still haven’t proven to me that a fetus is deserving of personhood. Just because they are biologically human doesn’t mean we should give them the same standards of personhood has sentient beings with a will to live, like you and me

I have an opinion with this. As a woman, I do not want to raise (nor put into fostercare) a rape baby. I do not want to raise a child that is heavily deformed where all their life would be is just pain and, and I do not want to bring a baby into this world because of this climate crisis happening. Theres no future and I do not want my child to suffer through the end of the world. It should stand by a right for anyone to have an abortion whether they want them or not. The world is heavily over populated, and I want this right to be respected.

Beautiful 🙏 thank you for sharing. My significant other has brought to my attention that many women would like to have right to CHOOSE to end her child's life, but never want a man to be able to CHOOSE to support a child he may or not "want". Women often say they think abortions are okay for women who just arent ready for kids yet and think theyre better off, as well as the child to have an abortion. But heaven forbid a man not pay child support ...

Most people who are pro life operate on a logical fallacy, that a fetus=a baby. Even when abortion isnt in the equation this isnt always true. Miscarriage are pretty common, meaning that many times just because an egg is fertilized with a sperm doesnt mean that it'll result in a baby. For the first 24 weeks a fetus is incapable of living outside of a mothers body. If the organism in question didnt have the potential to grow into a human, we would refer to that as a parasite. There is no reason why women shouldnt be able to choose whether or not they desire to be a host to a parasite, so why is it when it is one of our own species in question, people suddenly have a problem with it. Our world is becoming increasingly overpopulated, and in my opinion being born to an unprepared and reluctant parent is almost as bad as not being born at all. Why dont we give women the choice to decide when they're ready, so that the child will have the best opportunity to have a good and stable parent.

One of the many characteristics of life, by biology, is “has cells.” An animal cell w/ human DNA = someone else’s body/life. A fetus’s cells =/ mother’s cells. Once the sperm fertilizes the egg (If not miscarriage) it’ll develop the first of the cells, which makes it a living organism, by basic biology. Also, growth/change is another one of the characteristics of life. Just because it can’t cry or respond to stimuli at a young age doesn’t mean it’s not alive. Trees can’t do that either, but they’re most certainly alive. And viability =/ life. A guy who’s talking to you on an iron lung, not living independently, is still alive. A guy who’s brain dead on life support with the rest of his body functioning properly is still alive. A guy who lost a vital organ or too much blood but is still breathing is still alive. Nobody’s discussing killing the grandma down the street who’s on special treatment, so no, viability has never and will never determine if someone is alive. Euthanasia is murder as well, but that’s used only when someone is suffering and 100% going to die soon. Fetuses are made to develop, so that doesn’t follow. And you’re right that a fetus would be a parasite if that’s what it’s species is supposed to do develop into, but again, that doesn’t make it a parasite. Humans are free omnivorous free-roamers. And that’s not morally your decision to make. Overpopulation is bad, but you need to sort out your priorities if you believe that you need to start with someone else’s life and future rather than your own. There’s many other ways to advocate against overpopulation, like promoting contraception to prevent these pregnancies from happening in the first place. If you feel that the first move to take is to start killing your children, something is most certainly wrong with you. I’m not advocating for the banning of abortions, and neither are a lot of pro-lifers in this comment section, but we shouldn’t be treating it like it’s a good thing. We shame the very action of drinking and smoking because it’ll most likely have bad effects on your child’s development life. Disfiguring your child for life by drinking and smoking is shamed upon, but completely killing your child is empowering. You lot need to stop acting like it’s cool or empowering. There’s nothing less empowering than a mother slaughtering her children, even a mother who abuses her children.

@Lost Soul ...then their life was stolen from them by someone who does not value Human Life! This is why the Left is so evil. They steal what cannot be replaced. ...something that is priceless, irretrievable, with no chance of duplication or possibility of replacement. The left would have you believe that it is the humane thing to do; protecting the woman's right to choose what happens to her body. However, when a woman engages in activity that is primarily designed to produce offspring, she has already made her choice! Her rights stop where other people's rights begin. ...and the right to life is supreme above all other rights! Human Life has no value to Democrats or those on the Left. More lives have been lost in the quest for leftism (Socialism, Communism) throughout history than any other endeavor! Literally millions have lost their lives so that a few might have control over the lives of those that remain. The Left lies about everything! It was the Democrats who were pro-slavery and the Democrats who gave Hitler the idea that a group of people could be terminated based on their ethnicity. It was people like Margaret Sanger who referred to blacks and poor whites as "human weeds." Eugenicists who think they are better than everyone else. Margaret is pleased as punch from her hole in hell at what her organization (Planned Parenthood) does for her master, Lucifer. The slaughter of innocents couldn't make the devil any happier! ...and all those who support that slaughter belong to him. It is the Democrat Party and Leftists, worldwide, who believe in slavery, abortion, Physician Assisted Suicide and euthanasia. The Republican Party wouldn't even exist today if not for the evil of Democrats! The Republicans came about through the amalgamation of 3 parties in the mid-1800s. The Whigs, the Free Land Democrats and the Abolitionists. Separately, these parties could never unseat the Democrat Party who pretty much had complete control over the U.S. in the 1800s up to the Civil War. (...which BTW, was not a war between the north and south but between the Democrats and the Republicans) Not until the Republicans seated their first President, Abraham Lincoln, did slavery ever have a chance of being abolished! Today, almost every major city in the U.S. is run by Democrats. In almost every major city, people are segregated by the color of their skin and their ethnicity and bank accounts. ...and if you want your garbage picked up or you like your job, or apartment or house, you always vote Democrat! ...or they will make you suffer! Just like on the old plantations of the south, the Democrats want power over other people! To steal their labor through taxes while bankrupting the very city that they control! ...and providing almost no safety or security for the denizens that the elites look down upon until their votes are needed. Yes...Leftists and the Democrat Party are quite the bunch! They accuse others of what they themselves do to deflect criticism. There is only one thing a Democrat or a Leftist values more than taxes and power!!! ...and that's their own hide!!!

Secondly...I have Hope! Hope that a Godly people can make this world a wonderful place to live until our God comes to collect us and takes us to be with Him. Thirdly, the first two inspires me to Charity that the things I can do for others will not only better their lives but my own and allow my God to see me in a light that is worthy of being with Him forever. If I am right, you place yourself on a fast track to displeasing said God, and it has been asserted that those who do not use their free will to follow God's laws will not enter His Kingdom for eternity. They in turn will find eternal punishment for the evil they have done. If you are right, then everything we do is for naught! There is no kindness in "not" doing evil or seeking revenge upon your enemies. There is no reason for civility. We are just animals who should enjoy this life for as long as we can and then "Oblivion!" ...and when the universe reaches thermal equilibrium and all the lights go out forever, it will be as if you never were.
