personaly i dont mind them, they just want to farm and get sl or RP the grind is long, i leav them alone and wich they do the same

My issue with them is the kamikaze that go to airfields, they also affect gameplay negatively, and in the long run affect rewards in simulator in question, that and waiting 5 minutes in the airfield also affects my gameplay experience.

I think zoombers should not be eradicated from sim because they are actively going for the objectives of the gamemode. What should be fixed is the fact they j out immediately after finishing the bomb run. Something to encourage them to go back to the airfield

I can see where you're coming from, the fact is also that score should be massively lowered to match the same as the one from regular bases, if not lower due to the amount of HP airfield parts have, I'm not asking for the total elimination of them, mostly to lower their numbers massively, I personally bomb bases, but I also actively dogfight others whenever possible, but the game mode is boring when all of the players are zombers, its just a game of mouse and cat then.

Issue with zombers is going through all simmod history. First it was WW2 bombers farming SL/RP at bases, then same farming airfields, then FFAR Mighty Mouse at F4 phantom farming SL/RP destroying airfileds; then, after sim eco was rewamped to activity system was a pause with afk farming, and shortly after that gain FFAR zpmbers but for points for events (which is point based duty for almost 3 years already). And i'm not talking about regular task completion, i'm speaking about brainless suicide runs with tonns of salt if those players was intercepted. And all that time (almost 10 years) people told gaijobs to fix suicide bombing. And you know? They don't care. They never had it into account.

I'm aware, I've seen other videos about it, one of the things that gave me the idea for making a video about it, my idea, is to try to gain traction to hopefully get maybe other people to see it and spread the message around, which with some help of some close people, it was possible.

main issue with zombers is their motivation is score based not SL based. RP and event score being a function of mission score cause zombers to have no self preservation and actively suicide as it increases their efficiency. Best way to deal with it would probably be to cause deaths by suicide/ crashing to reduce max score but this opens an entire can of worms like what if you do a sortie but run out of fuel and crash trying to return or crash mid dogfight, etc. its a hard problem to solve using the hard coded solutions that gaijin likes to use and a reason its been an issue for so long.

Maybe they should bring back the old task based event rather than this stupid points system. I much prefer the old tasks since I can grind for all vehicles. Points system required way too much time to grind for all vehicles

that would hopefully fix half of the problems with zombers, forcing people to do certain actions instead of ruining simulator, though it'd need to be in such a way that doesn't restrict you to certain vehicles.

The go to plane I use is the f4e because it easily takes out zombers and great dogfighter, if you have mostly air control, you can bring agm 65s walleyes and conventional weapons most well rounded sim plane

When I play air sim. I only go after the small bases and play it only to really grind or feel cinematic With my Su-25. 😂

Same story here, you should learn to destroy ground targets in sim, its very fun, I personally enjoy it.

in my opinion sim bombing isn't as bad as rb bombing but everything in excess ruins it all, sim is by far the most bombing accepting group but you are still expected to... you know... play the game, if you are in the aardvark or bucc then sure, but if all you do is phantom bomb then no, they are just low level us main zombers

i play sim to get some full real immersions yes i can play dcs but its too complicated for me so i play warthunder sim and then main issue for me and its not only for sim is fox 3 missles i think if someone has them unlocked they dont care about other weapons that they can use just taking as much fox-3 as they can spam them and go to base to ressuply and the airfields in rb are around 120km from each other and the fox-3 has around 100km range but the aim-54 has 200km range so you can spam from airlfield to airfield and meybe only on rb but on sim same thing people spam the fox-3s like... i just want to play modern jets. (sorry for my english)

I use Russian planes in sim top tier, never really got much into the F-15J(M) (definitely didn't have radar issues with IFF which discouraged me to use Aim-120s), personally prefer to get up close in simulator. Mostly recommend playing up to the MiG-29 and early F-16 era for close encounter dogfights, if you know how to Notch, you're set to get up close and harass F-14 players, they are really that bad at the game in my experience. (Don't worry about grammar mistakes in English, you're good :D)

@Jaegerfunky worst part is that i sometimes get into sim battles that are already 40mins long and there is some planes flying around spawn and aa cant reach him bc he is flying with his fox 3 14km from spawn and im already getting tracked on land and the most maps dont have any terrain to dodge i ramember only afgan rest of the maps are almost flat. You trying to bomb? Ok so we sent after you f15e bc why not do mach every contry vs every coutry Trying to dogfight is pointless if you gonna be shoot down by other player with fox 3 or on lower br f16 by f14 bc like i said i will be fighting my own country I think top tier is about fox3 And thats why im trying to get some ppl on my dc server so i can do some missions like escorting ect...

@czarekpinkas6000 Thats a fair point, we need better EC maps for the future, the worse part is that there are good maps that could be use for EC.

@@Jaegerfunky gajin just could make bigger maps for top tier we have fuel tanks that are almost not used over 1h on f15 meybe add a air refueling and 250-500km maps would not be a problem now we also have planes that can supercrise at mach 1.35 so... you know

I think this is silly. How would you recommend a player unlock the a2a missiles they need to be competitive in sim other then bombing?

Dealing with it, I spaded my Q-5L in simulator with no issues, and it doesn't get any sort of air to air missiles, with a a mix of bombing ground bases and PVP.
