(Sorry about the shifting focus; it was raining lightly and I think my camera was getting confused!)

If your rack is wide enough, one prong goes between down tube and fork, below down tube. the other prong goes in the space between seat tube and seat stay.

You can also just put it inside your car. It is possible the front wheel will need to come off and / or the passenger seat will have to be empty. But the big question is how did you get the bikes home in the first place?

You need a towbar mounted bike rack like a Thule Easyfold XT

Litte late, but Yakima and others sell a cross bar adapter that will act as the bar for a traditional bike rack. Used this on several road trips over several hundred miles. Pretty sure this will suffice for a trip across town. The one a have is quite rugged with hard rubber/plastic on points that touch bike. No scratches or worries.

I'd gaffer tape a broom handle or something to it to make a cross bar. Tape won't damage it and you can use loads so its secure?

I’m not sure that would be secure enough to hang an ebike from, and I’d worry about the tape damaging the paintwork.

Order an inner tube of Gaadi online. It is not a circle but rather a straight tube that you can easily fit in you tyre without having to take your backwheel out.

You can’t see the difference between the two bikes. And you say there isn’t much difference mounting them .Mate you need to open your eyes. Clearly the step through is easier to mount Good grief.

why not run a strap through frame.

Interesting. As someone who coincidentally ordered their first step-through e-bike yesterday I hadn't thought of this bike rack problem. But ... come on, you have to really try hard to be unable to change an inner tube, it's a simple job that most people learn in their childhood! (I recommend the new 'Tyre Gliders' rather than old-style tyre levers).

Hello! I have no doubt I could change the inner tube. I just don’t care to learn in this case. If it becomes a problem I will but I’m happy generally to focus on the skills I have, and then give employment to specialists in other fields. There are also other issues that need fixing at the same time, so it makes sense to get ’em all done at once.
