Those are minor problems, I don't really care for it so much either. I mean my Draenei Pally has the Hammer of Argus mogged over the Ashbringer, and I don't use the Highlord title. RP-wise, any decent RPer will not call themselves a Highlord (unless they are a Highlord of their own guild, as a example) or say that they are wielding the Ashbringer. My Troll Shaman has normal axes mogged over Doomhammer, nor will he use the Farseer title cause it doesn't fit to him. Am I bummed out by everyone wielding these legendaries? No, because lore-wise I can see that each and every one of us are legendary heroes: We have witnessed the wars with the Horde, survived the Burning Crusade, fought against the Lich King, defeated the Aspect of Death, destroyed Old Gods, discovered new lands, dethroned a super-powerful tyrant, fought back another Orc invasion and broke their forces on their home planet and now we are fighting against the biggest Legion invasion lore-wise, comparable to the War of the Ancients. Lore-wise, we are legendary heroes who WOULD have been already claimed these weapons and leadership before. It is a story-line you follow, from us being faceless adventurers, to soldiers, to commanders, to legends.

It was great to watch it, I didn't expect this kind of video, but I really liked it either way. I really REALLY liked how you snuck in a joke here and there like "Stick this up your arse", I really enjoyed that, but I'd like to see even more jokes on the way, makes it more fun to watch. I mean I don't play WoW anymore, so I've missed most of the details on artifacts weapons, but I was still able to enjoy this video, but would enjoy it even more so if you'd put in more jokes, perhaps some easter eggs here and there (idk, makes it interesting to watch as well). well, ive been playing since bc, and i remember when you actually had to work for them. you used to have to grind for weeks full of dailies in the argent tournament grounds for example(gratz if you know where that is). now all you need is the level boost, get gold real quick, and buy each for a measley 500 golkd. its basically like the noobs wear thwe hierlooms and the pros boycott them at this point, imo.

it bothers me to see littarally EVERYONE at low levels wearing thwe same thing. i remem,ber the exitement of getting my first helmet. i was pumped. no players experience it that way anymore, and nobody goes throufgh the amazing zones. all they do is dungeon cap to 100. i know its a bit laughed at to asay everything after wrath sucks, but the game got way too easy in cata. legion is awesome, and that is because, besides artifacts, theuyve made the game HARD again

king carva heirlooms as been mostly for alts anyway. i already played the old content so it helps alot to get them max lvl for end game. the game isnt easier too. its just not as grinding and time consuming.

What if there was only one Ashbringer per server. Killing the person holding the Ashbringer moves it from their inventory to yours. If someone doesn't log on for a few days the Ashbringer is removed and returned to its spawn point.

This has probably been said before, since this video was out at least 8 months ago, but in a way Pet Battling to artifact weapons makes sense. You get XP from pet battles, as the Pokemon Theme song taught us "You teach me and I'll teach you..." From this we can assume the PC learned combat and prowess from watching tiny animals battle in his ceaseless wars. Why I'd say this makes pet battlers even more ready for the legion. They have stood on high watching the great battles of miniatures creatures rage on before them. Seeing from outside the turmoil below, and organizing the chaos to victory!

Yea first thing that ran across my mind back when Blizzard announced Legion expansion with artifact weapons - it's the last expansion they're developing. Possessing artifacts (and actually being declared as greatest of the class) is too extreme. If there is to be another expansion beyond, I cannot imagine having to discard the artifact and wielding some random uncommon weapon again. That would probably mean having to keep using artifacts for whatever future expansions, and then imagine what extended (messy) trait trees they would get.

I seriously think they should have just given us our own personal weapons that don't already exist in the lore. The questline would be something along the lines of crafting a weapon worthy of our stature, which we can customize and personalize as we like, for example you could craft a 2h mace as a paladin and change its appearance, something similar to the gunsmith in CoD.

When I played in Wotlk I got every fishing achievement. But... I was also a raider doing the content as it came out. The most fun achievement was catching Old Ironjaw, set up my own raid on iron forge with as many people I could who wanted the achievement. Those allies must have been confused to see a stampede of fishermen arrive at their door. Edit: Oh and doing the fishing competition in booty bay once a week was great fun :D .... I actually tried to cheat the competition once. I deleted the fish from my inventory and sent a GM ticket saying "Oh noes... I accidentally deleted my fish :( can I have them back?" , so then they sent them to my mail box. The next week when I took them out of the mail, instead of giving me the fish I got ported to the barrens. So remember guys, cheaters never win.

I think blizz could fix the problem with everyone wielding a legendary weapon. I mean they could make a "second look" to every artifact weapon and you would see other players wielding them, they would look simillar but there wouldn't be ashbringer everywhere. They did something simillar before but with npc's following players. You know, there weren't 20 varians in one place :D

One argument about the replacing weapon with the next green item you get off of a mob. Since Mists I hardly see people replacing their weapons with green items off the first mob. It's mostly going to be dungeon loot so to correct your statement. "Am I going to replace the Ashbringer with some Shitty Blue Quality Stick in the first normal dungeon i do?"

I'm sitting at 22k achievement points, raid mythic, have 268 mounts and almost 700 pets and can't help but think most people are scrubs haha. Love the video. It was a great way to be unique from most wow vids and be entertaining at the same time.

I don't see why abandoning the artifact weapons next expansion is an issue, it's been like that forever. It's not like anyone uses Thunderfury, Shadowmourne or Thori'dal anymore.

I think what's likely to happen is Legion will send us after the Legion themselves in the Twisting Nether. So we'd need to keep the weapons. However, we don't just want to hand them the weapons if something goes wrong, so instead we keep them on Azeroth and call them to our need at the last moments (such as during end-raid bosses). The other option is to destroy them, and to harness their raw power to a new weapon where we combined artifacts... orr we just draw in the power to our own bodies. The other option too is to retire the weapon in the class hall, and just have it kind of like a passive ability for your class order troops/you/your raids/etc. I dunno, I'm still not big on the Artifact thing, feels really mary-sue storytelling.

No matter how people like to play, as long as they are over level 100, I don't see how they're too weak to use the artifacts. The only problem with artifacts is what you pointed out, what they will do after Legion. It will suck if we just completely replace it. Blizzard should give us the choice of either replacing it with a more powerful artifact or the choice of keep upgrading it.

I'd really like it more if artifacts were hard to get, you'd have to learn your class in order to get an artifact, just like Rhok'delar, Benediction, etc.
