I'll be honest. not worried about pump noise at all. I've got a box fan running as ambient in my room almost all the time. but your clarification does help me realize that the constant fluctuation in pump rpm is normal. Greatly appreciated

1. Close iCUE W+R %appdata% edit: \AppData\Roaming\Corsair\CUE5\\cooling\configurations search all 0 and change bottom line to 50 after modified, then change file attribution to read only (right click on the file > properties). If don't do below, it works, but every time start computer and load iCUE, need to change settings again to make it quiet. 2. in folder \AppData\Roaming\Corsair\CUE5\profiles\ Edit and save all ******.cueprofiledata files (if you like to change all profiles), search all file for 0 then change bottom line to 50 3. start the iCue, will works. Restart Windows.

I had brand new H170i Elite Capellix, and the same issue - the pump rpm is over 2000rpm on silent mode. There is no way to make custom curve. I'm angry because the only thing what I hear is that pump. I was looking for answer and I found one post from corsair member that they will not give us any chances to change rpm manually because the pump must stay at 2xxx rpm, because otherwise it will going to die quicker. I don't give a shit how long time that pump will live. I need silence. That sound drives me crazy. Fu. ck you Corsair

I think you should buy some airfan that is loud as soviet tank, then it will cover the pump's noise ;). LoL, joking, I'm just waiting for mine to arrive and I will soon know if it's good or not. Btw, if that's a 7000D FullTower then lol, I have the same one (white variant), nice box :).

Dont listen to this guy your placement is absolutely fine. Your radiator will have the air bubble in the top of it and not inside the pump which is how it should be. Your installation is fine. These pumps and pretty much every single othet pump on the market make noise to some degree. Its normal just ignore it isnt that loud bud

@@frankinher7467 corsair has two pump suppliers. I don't remember names, but one is silent, one make high pitch noise. The pump cannot go below 2100rpm, even on silent mode -and you hear it when the CPU and GPU is on idle at night or at day in empty quiet room. So there is 3 possibilities - first, you have that second pump from different supplier, or second you have newest fresh, updated revision, where corsair fix that noise issue, about a lot of people complained on corsair's official forum, or third the noise is there but you have wax in your ears, which is dumping that sound:-)

The reason for getting the AIO is to build a silent gaming PC, which is expected to run silently at least when not gaming. All other fans run super silent in my gaming PC, but the pump of H150i, and it is super annoying: a waste of money, time, and energy. MacBook Air has been my daily driver for almost 10 years now and I love the fanless design with 0dB noise.
