When will you discuss the fact that the draw is rigged? I can have just 2 draw spells in my deck and 80% of the time when I play the first one it will give the second one. Don't even get me started on manifest. They didn't even try to hide the manipulation on manifest especially with concurrent timelines. This game is fake.

This video is so well edited. It's not just you on the screen talking about something. There are always some animations that you use while talking to visualize the stuff that you talk about. You state the bad sides Kata and you recommend some solutions for it. And you mix all that with some jokes in between. Seem like a lot of work, but it turned out so good.

Kat probably didnt get that death lotus effect because she's a foundation champ. Most of those have a really simple design. I still would like to see a rework after all this time. Rally doesnt really fit her design, she's an assassin, not a general like Darius or Garen that RALLY their troops for an attack. I dont like the rework idea with the heavy focus on the existing death lotus because it kills your board as well and gameplaywise you would see only Katarina attacking, not very Noxus' style . It fits thematically, she is the 1v5 Pentaqueen after all, but I cant see Noxus in this no unit heavy control niche. If I had to rework her with a focus on similarity to her League gameplay, I would concentrate on her passive daggers. Make her summon a vulnerable dagger on the opponent's board that deals aoe damage to all opponent's units and face when killed by Katarina (similar to a timebomb). When she levels up, she summons more daggers when you kill a non-dagger unit, so she can chain her daggers and aoe damage like in league. I just came up with this idea, so there are probably a lot of flaws but at least you dont have rally left in her kit and she doesnt kill your board while attacking. Looking forward to the new discussion focused video!

I dunno... "kills your board as well" is the Crimson archetype, just turned towards board damage, rather than Nexus. Since Death Lotus only hits units in combat, you'd still need to make big attacks to get value out of it, you'd just also probably need Vulnerable support. Like, what if with the Death Lotus package, the Legion Saboteur was something like Elusive, immune to Death Lotus and had "Nexus Strike: Grant the weakest enemy Vulnerable"

The main problem with that is that if the opponent has a full board you can't summon any daggers, and it could also feed free sacrifice targets to Shadow Isles decks. Would still be cooler than what we have now though.

@@100organicfreshmemes5 It feeds into the same problem that Withering Wail or Avalanche arent cards against Scargrounds or that Aloof Travelers just enables Lost Soul. Just because 1 or 2 decks benefit from your gameplan doesnt make your deck bad or unplayable. Even if the opponent succeeds at flooding the board (which this version of Kat heavily punishes) you can still remove stuff with Noxus removal like Death's Hand or Death Lotus.

@@peschionator7873 That's not a fair comparison, virtually any deck can flood the board with some time. Obviously aggro/swarm decks will do it more easily but it's far from impossible with others.

Legit no one else comes close in Runeterra content creation. Just leagues ahead in the youtube game, and has been from the start. I'll say it way before the video begins. She should have Ahri's gameplay without the elusive. IDK about her league of legends gameplay but she is always shown here as the one that goes 6v1 and wins.

In League of Legends, she basically throws a lot of daggers and teleport several times into the daggers or into the enemies. So her AoE damage makes her one of the best characters to make pentakills. Being recalled and rallying back to fight is an awesome translation, but most of the time it's not worth it in the end.

on real.. nop katarina is a focus rally that summons a 4/3 quick attack champ, the problem is, katarina is not demacian

She's the only champion that loses part of her utlity (fleeting Blade's Edge) and incrases her mana cost upon leveling up. Rally in anything that isn't Demacia is either mediocore or bad. Shunpo is bad, Playful Trickster is bad, Kata is bad. The only exeption is Chronobreak, but it can't be main decked. That biggest problem is that Relentless Pursuit and Golden Aegis basically do what Kata does, but better. If they got nerfed to make them fizzle when targeted unit dies, Kata wouldn't be strictly inferior option anymore (the only unconditional Rally for 4 mana). Champions should provide the best option for any given archetype and Kata is one of the worst options for Rally. That and her champion spell belongs to a completely different archetype, which she has basically no synergy with.

@@aalzien722 Who cares what she's meant to do? If in practice 4 mana spells are better than her nobody is going to use her. When building a deck with Garen you're better off adding Riven, Jarvan or even Taric. All of them will actually help you win the game.

@@aalzien722 Why would you remove her when she removes herself? 4 damage is nowhere near enough for the loss of tempo she causes by going back to hand, especially if she gets chump blocked. And even if enemy that blocks her has more than 4 health, now you don't have a blocker for the next round. So either way it's bad. She cannot die? She has the same hp as Ekko who often gets nuked the moment he enters a board exept you can't level her up while she's in the deck. And even then killing her is often a waste of mana. You can't ignore Ekko, because he generates constant value through Time Trick, Chronobreak and his champ spell, while Katarina need a full board to be even remotely usefull.

I think that custom re-design is interesting in many ways but simply has too much text. One way to evaluate is see if the text is covering the face of the champion art. I personally really hope the dev team do something with the stats and try with subtle buffs like +1 attack, as I think this current iteration isn't far from being a great design, it is more of a stat problem. On top of that, I totally agree that Kat's deck problem also being largely due to the lack of good followers. When the 6 mana ram was a decent card, Kat felt much better. But with all the silence and minimorph, that card feels a little underpowered. A 3 mana fae blade twirler style follower, or a cheaper 4-5 mana ram style follower might be the actual key to help Kat. Anyways, great video, love ur content, keep it up!

That is actually more of a problem of the card creator than the amount of text itself. The card creator a majority of us used does not have a text resizer, so you cant shrink the text down to show the art more. With the restrictions we were given to only be able to rework Kat using that description of what she was previously supposed to be, we made do with what we could. It was unavoidable to have a wall of text in this case.

wait can someone tells me if thats correct, that custom card of kat, suppose thats its already evolved and you played 2 lotus already, then you atack and play one more and t summons the copy and rally, then you atack and both gives you two lotus, you cast them rally again and then each gives you 3 and so on, isn't that an endless turn?

Lvl1: 3 - 2-2 Lvl2: 4 - 3-3 Lvl 1: when I’m played or strike create a fleeting daggers edge. Level up condition: I’ve killed 2 units with my strikes. Lvl2: When I’m played or strike create a daggers edge. When I kill a unit with my strike, rally. I take no damage from death lotus That way she has to be protected because she’s a low HP unit, has to kill weak units since she doesn’t have a lot of attack, synergies with daggers edge and her champ spell to lower enemy health so she can kill them and rally, and the enemy has the option to no block her and not give her a kill. So she would synergies with either vulnerable or Demarcus strike effects. And that 5 mana rally card can be changed to “an ally strikes a unit, if it kills it, rally”

the enemy does have the option to not block her, and noxus cannot protect a 2 health unit. leveling her up is nearly impossible, and you get a 4 mana 3/3 for it

12:47 Lore-wise: LeBlanc can use magic, so maybe her spells are stronger than Trundles club. Gameplay-wise: she needs 5+ attack to proc reputation. Besides, Trundle grows constantly after lvlup, so you can say he does have more attatck than LeBlanc. Praise the Sun!

@@dinofahmi5629 ARAM stands for “All Random All Mid” which is a game mode in League of Legends that is played in the Howling Abyss map. For that reason people call the “Howling Abyss” card in LoR ARAM. As someone who doesn’t play league it took me forever to understand that one. (Btw ARAM is fast-paced mode in which all champions for all players are randomized and the Howling Abyss card mimics that by giving you random leveled champions)

I actually played Katarina in a Very successfull Swain Sejuani list as a 1 of. It turns out curving a level 2 Sejuani into a level 1 katarina, use the dagger to freeze all enemies and follow up with another rally is good. But even there she was really more of a situational nice to have card that a card that I would build around
