Thanks Ann for this video, to me, this is the most original spontaneous talk I’ve heard you say. I’ve watched all your videos. I actually specially subscribed an MTN KZbin package so I can Get to watch all of it. And this is so gbam! I usually wonder how so many people lists many online courses like it’s some sort of achievements.I started a Udemy course on freelance writing because I want to practice it. Almost immediately. I mean, I have been writing on a freelance since my undergrads and I studied English Literature but then, when I realize I want to start doing this as a side job apart from my primary business, I felt I just needed some sort of to up up on my skills and so I took a course at Udemy. I had to skip many parts of the course but I gotta say I still learned a lot. Every step of the way I take notes and carry out some experiments on my own based on what I’ve newly learned. So, I do this every step of the way. And now m at the spot we’re taught about blog writing and I’m already tidying up some paper work on the contents for my blog. I mean, I had to pause and tell myself why would I learn about blog writing and not actually do it? So, o can’t wait to finish this, start getting jobs and also blog personally too. That’s when I also believe learning is complete. Though, I know I don’t have any teacher to tell me how much we’ll or bad I’m doing. But, I know I. An pull this off quite well because I have a prior experience but I can’t imagine someone who hasn’t had experience trying this out. It’ll all be vague to such a person. Thumbs up ma’am. You might not read my comment to the end. I knew I wrote an epistle. N I forgive you in advance. I’m just happy I heard these stuff from you.

I fell attacked Ann!!! But you are right. I went down a bad spiral of taking courses, wasting time, never completing any course and honestly have no skill to show for them.

Lol! Dr. Ann, people are going to feel attacked because they think that the number of courses they do will get them ahead. It's actually showing what you know. What problems can you solve or have you solved based on the courses you took? That's the point. Well done!

Good day Dr Ann,thank you for all you do. A quick question please, I intend applying for graduate school next year January, I have seen some professors who have the same research interest as i do. When is the appropriate or right time to start e-mailing professors for mentorship and supervisorship? Thank you.
