I loved my job and worked my butt off to earn the respect and benefits I received from higher management. I frequently told people I’m only as successful as the amount of work, respect I give and expect in return. I always felt that I didn’t fit into my family. I frequently had to make myself small to fit and keep the peace. I was constantly giving wether it was advice, money, gifts, etc… when this wasn’t happening I would constantly over hear she thinks she’s… blah blah… very hurtful. Now that I can’t give and serve the way I use to everyone seems to have disappeared or they’re too busy. REAL TALK 💥

You are giving me confirmation to move on from my current job. I have sacrificed. Done extraordinary things. But it never seemed to be appreciated. Nothing I can do about that. I know that I did my job and did it with the utmost integrity. But I will say, God has always put educated mature christian black women in my path to encourage me and to offer support. And I am thankful for that. My supervisor, told me, you have the opportunity to get a degree from Johns Hopkins University. She said times flies, so don't look up in 10 yrs without that degree. She only had to say it once. I have a degree from Johns Hopkins University. And was recognized by 2 honor societies. Ricky you are so right!
