Great episode. I struggled with this being a punk vocalist. We wrote as a group, and so politics crept in, but I was pretty uncomfortable with them. The ones I influenced the most were just about science and fiction.

P I grew up on punk rock. I love the music and always love the culture. But now that I have children I pay taxes. I try to own things. I hate their politics and the people I look up to. I feel now that they have money have totally turned their back on The principles of Liberty and the working class! I believe they have become so insulated and out of touch. Their songs and lyrics don't speak to me like they used to when I was younger!

Yeah same. Sucks because i love punk music but now as an adult i hate the lyrics due to the politics and it kinda becomes borderline unlistenable to me.
