Yeah because the big companies gained so much money during the pandemic, they gave more hikes, bonuses to employees. But for the small companies that couldn't depend on WFH, they had to lay off people, hence dropping their net worth. Idk if this is a flaw in the system or just a logical scenario. Even when wealth is more equitable, this is still the case. Look up the Pareto principle or the 80-20 rules. In basically any business, 80% of the revenue comes from 20% of the customers. Some people spend more regardless of the wealth distribution.
