Whats the logical reason behind that. Yes if allah wants something to happen hell make it happen no matter what. But also its not in the sunnah of allah to interfere in every single humanly matter or else whats the reason for heaven and hell and tests? The 12 imams did not become leaders because allah did not want it, rather it was because of the greed and hunger for control, power, money and status of other men.

This wasn't just "oh majority is authority" that majority has a huge say because of their significance as people. Furthermore, every ruler after Abu Bakr was nomimated in a different manner, not just through general consensus (for example, Umar being directly appointed by Abu Bakr, Uthman being appointed from a committee and Ali being appointed through force and revolt), each one was different and it was according to the needs of the time. Where is the set method appointed by Allah to choose Prophet's (S) successor that Ammar speaks of mentioned?

Al-Albani said: It is a very authentic hadith, it came from the paths of a group of the Companions, the hadiths of seven of them came out, and some of them have more than one path. “The Shadows of Heaven in Takhreej Ahadith Al-Sunnah” 2/338: See the expanded Takhreej of the hadith in “Silsilat Al-Ahaadeeth Al-Sahihah” 4/330.
