110/786 Salaam, dear staff at Thaqlain! Thank you 🙏, once again, for posting the so valuable and precious lectures of Sayed Ammar. Forgive me for adding to your plate, dear brother/sister who will read this message, and, hopefully, answer it!! (You are the only Muslim site that does that 😊👌, so keep it up!!) I am Shia, though not a twelver, and have been trying to understand why, and what sort of music, is haraam in Islam. We are in a religion that is steeped in reason and intellect, and I am sure that there must be logical reasons for this interdiction. I adore some of the Pakistani kawaali dedicated to Hazrat Aly, and I know that music can be very soothing. All of Sayed Ammar's lectures on Imam Hussein TV3 are introduced by very loud and somewhat (I find), frightening music: this leads me ask the question, which kind of music is not allowed, and for what reason? May I please request you to organize a session with music experts that could give the audience an idea of what is permitted and what is not, and for what reason, and demonstrate that with examples, pieces of music that are played, to illustrate what they are saying? It would be so helpful to so many!! Again, forgive me for intruding and troubling you! Keep up the good work! No doubt, you are getting many dua from many viewers! I thank you in advance! Kanize

STORY OF MUHAMMAD QASIM IBN ABDUL KARIM (2015) Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim I am from Pakistan for the last 26 years Allah ﷻ and Muhammad ﷺ keep coming into my dreams, the first time they came into my dreams was when I was (around) 13 years old and when I was 17 years old they came into my dreams continuously. Since then Allah ﷻ has come into my dreams at least 500 times and Muhammad ﷺ came into my dreams at least 300 times. I testify that there is no God except Allah ﷻ and Muhammad ﷺ is his messenger. In 2007 Allah ﷻ and Muhammad ﷺ taught me what to do and what not to do, mostly to avoid all forms of shirk.(worship besides Allah) I have seen many dreams how Islam and the Muslim Ummah (Nation) will rise against the whole World. For the first time in April 2014 Allah ﷻ told me ‘’Qasim, I want you to tell the whole world about your dreams and I want everyone to know who you are.’’ I have shared many of my dreams with family members, friends and neighbors and all of them ended up ignoring me after that I stopped sharing my dreams. Then in December 2014 Muhammad ﷺ appeared twice in my dreams and said, ‘’You have to save Islam and Pakistan by sharing your dreams.’’ In all hopelessness I asked myself ‘’What should I do?,’’I don't know why Allah ﷻ and Muhammad ﷺ keep coming into my dreams, I am just a simple person not religious just that I tell the truth and want to be a friend of Allah ﷻ I never saw Allah ﷻ just that I felt He is on the throne above the sky and I heard His voice from there or saw His light and I feel He is nearer to me than my jugular vein and the front part of my brain. I have only seen the body of Muhammad ﷺ because my gaze would always lower out of respect. In a few dreams I shake hands and hug Muhammad ﷺ and my body testifies that this is the noble body of Muhammad ﷺ. Allah told me in a dream in 1994 that ‘’Qasim I will fulfill the promises I made you and if I can't I am not the lord of the worlds.’’ From that day I put my trust in Allah ﷻ and waited for his promise and whenever I started to lose hope in Allah ﷻ or Muhammad ﷺ they would advice me with patience and tell me ‘’Qasim Muslims do not lose hope, do not be like the non-muslims.’’ In many of my dreams Allah ﷻ and Muhammad ﷺ guide me in towards the right path and in so many dreams Allah ﷻ says "Qasim go fill the world with light as it is in darkness.” Allah and Muhammad ﷺ told me "Qasim one day you will take the whole Muslim Ummah out of darkness and then the whole world will be filled with light and peace starting from Pakistan.’’ In other dreams I saw Dajjal (one-eyed antichrist) trying to destroy that World Peace. Allah ﷻ told me we will be the last nation of Muhammad ﷺ on this Earth. And Qiyamah (day of judgement) will be established on the worst of us. In February 2015 Muhammad ﷺ told me in a dream ‘’Don't lose hope my son. You are very close to your destiny and Allah ﷻ is helping you. Just wait a bit longer.’’ Many people told me you are mentally ill or it's from shaytan, however Allah ﷻ told me many years back Qasim read the last three Qul surahs (Quran) before you sleep so that shaytan stays away from you and I've been doing this for many years. Allah ﷻ told me in many dreams that ‘’Qasim one day I will help you and give you success and I will fulfill my promises even if there is one day left until Qiyamah(world end).’’ And I don't know when that will be but I've been waiting for the last 21 years. May Allah ﷻ reward you for your time.

It appears there are multiple contenders for the position of Al Mahdi. The birth of Al Mahdi was also assigned to one of the wives of Jafar As Sadiq, who was also under house arrest. And I have also heard it attributed to imam zainul abideen. Everybody seems to have their favourite. It gets frustrating. I wish our teachers would get it right for once and for all.

Shi'ism is not a monolith - it has never been one sect; the Twelvers have only become the majority in the last few hundred years after the forced conversion of Iran by the Savafis. The first Shia sect to believe in the Ghaybah of the Mahdi was at the time of the Sahabah/Tabi'een when Muhammad Ibn Al Hanafiyyah (the third son of Ali) was considered the Mahid by an extreme group amongst his followers during the Fitnan of the time. When he died/disappeared, they questioned if he is the Mahdi, then why was he not still here? In order to get around this issue, they posited that he went into Ghaybah i.e. Allah took him under His protection and that he would return at a later stage towards the end times and restore justice on earth. Sound familiar? The group eventually remerged into the other Shia sects when they gave up on waiting for him to come back, and the Twelvers recycled the idea a couple of hundred years later when they could not explain where the 12th Imam was...
