The problem isn't the IBF but rather the Rematch-Clause, Hrgovic has earned his shot at the title and gets absolutely nothing for waiting. You cant complain about the WBC's BS when it comes to not calling mandatory's but then be angry when the IBF is so strict about it, the IBF is doing the right thing.

I’ll agree what the IBF did to Crawford was dirty, but this time? Hrgovic already took step aside money twice. We can’t get mad at the other sanctioning bodies for not enfororcing the mandatories, but then also get mad at the one who consistently enforces theirs at the same time

A completely CORRECT DECISION (!) and according to the rules. As a mandatory, Hrgovic has been waiting for a fight for 2 years. Too much! At the same time, Fury fights with MMA and prolongs the fight by 3 months. Inadmissible! This decision does nothing to harm Usyk!

If you had a choice Kurt would you rather organisations run like the WBC or the IBF? Im just glad the IBF are just as strict on everyone and don’t go chopping and changing there rules to suit certain fighters

They did with Spence/Crawford though. That was a weird exception for them, letting Spence get away for years with no mandatory.

@@WMMASceneNow he had one against ocampo then Spence was unifying belts while avoiding Crawford and unifications trump mandatory’s. I get your point though and agree he should be had more mandatory defences given how long he had the title for

The ibf title ain't worth a thing if AJ and dubois end up fighting for it while usyk has 6 claims to world champion on top of beating them both. Anyway I'm still not convinced they can strip him until fury triggers the rematch, until then he may be available to fulfill his mandatory

I still don’t recognize the IBF 😂 WBA for undisputed belt & RING belt for lineal. Thats it. 40 fn belts, big reason nobody watches boxing anymore! Hell i can’t even keep up with the belts! And I go back to the 4 kings era!

Usik is UNDISPUTED CHAMPION, in some point of time he will lose all his belts. Lennox left boxing as champion. Usik also won everything, now he can only go down...better to step aside as a great champion!

What about mantorys waiting why should they have to wait so long be greatfull they didn't do this before we had the fight it's a good thing should happen anyway makes it harder to be another undisputed in the same year wouldn't be the same if we had 2 or 3 un disputed champs within the next 2-3 years or did people expect the belts to stay together for ever surely people saw this coming

Hrgovic is the mandatory challenger. He is waiting more then 2 years to get his title shot. Usyk was once mandatory challenger and he got his well earned title shot fighting AJ. IBF is doing the right thing. Rules are rules and the show must go on. Hrgovic earned his shot.
