idea: as an interlude to increase algo-happy retention, a producer gets 3-5" of various english accents, and the boys have to guess from where the speaker is. could be some speakers from english speaking countries and some not.

also, 16:30 - this is possible as a 100% pre-tax deduction for irs if the health ins premiums are paid to members of llc iirc. but considering there are special reporting rules to irs for such an arrangement and that i'm not aware of tax law for the state jurisdiction where said llc would be incorporated i would strongly recommend spending the cash to consult with a local accountant prior to incorporation. also, and i do not mean to sound patronising, but you may want to do some modeling to make sure that spending that money that would go to health ins premiums wouldn't be better spent in some other way to help the business grow. this is entirely down to your business plan. and finally, as you mention, american health insurance plans are crap for someone - whether buying on public health care exchanges for federal government, state governments or as an indvidual plan directly from the health insurance company or if you establish a small group plan for the business from which individuals buy (to reduce premiums marginally). it may well be that the total health care cost (out-of-pocket + premiums) is not so different between plans...or not. Will just have to model that out.

The dubious rules committees run our sport, whether it’s in the UK or World Athletics. Leaving him off the world indoor team seems short sited he is so popular and would lift the profile of the sport as a fan favorite even if he came in 9th in the 800m.

The World Indoors is always very uneven in terms of quality. Men's middle distance this year; 3000 very good field, 1500 good field, 800 relatively very weak field (just watched the semis!). Guy Learmonth should certainly have been selected and could very possibly have made the finals. What he had to say about the leadership of UK Athletics is bang on.

The message they are sending is to younger athletes, don’t piss us off or we won’t select you. It’s about power & control, this is the UK you’re talking about. You have to stay on the right side of the right people and you have to know who is in the ear of the selectors. Massive waste of energy for an athlete to have to play those games. Be a good little soldier, keep your head down, have the correct sponsor, agent & coach & you’ll be OK. Break any of their norms & you’ll be persona non grata.
