The Problems With My Cartier Love & Juste Un Clou Bracelets… *STORYTIME* | My First Luxury

I own a Love bracelet, cuff and JUC, each one size bigger than yours. I originally purchased the bracelet for my right wrist but inner nobs were starting to push too much on my wrist I ended up wearing it on my smaller left wrist 24/7. JUC I only wear on my right wrist but it is kind of heavy that I cannot wear too long… I haven’t had any issue reopening itself yet though. The cuff is great for easy on/off but since I purchased it for my right wrist, it is way too big for my left wrist and I am afraid it will slip off on my smaller left wrist. Since the cuff is oval, it often get stuck in a place on my wrist so I find myself fixing it often. All in all I love them all of its simplicity, elegance and the quality. At least one or two of them always goes with me everywhere. :)

I totally love your jewellery stories. Thanks for sharing your insights on these two iconic pieces. I'm wearing JUC slim YG bracelet for almost a year and love it due to its unique twisting mechanism. It is light weight and secure to my wrist. I just bought a WG Love bracelet and waiting for the right moment to put it on. However, I’m worried about the screws coming off on it’s own. I heard that some users apply loctite in it. What’s your take on this?

Thanks Viv for sharing your story! I totally get what you mean when it comes to not opening them as much as possible. Even with the small thin love I own, I am scared every time I unlock and pull it open, it will wear down faster and wont stay shut snuggly even when screwed tight lol

I own the regular sized Love, JUC (small with the diamonds) and just recently added the small Love bracelet. The regular Love sized I got in a size 19, and slide it on and off my wrist, the JUC and the smaller Love bracelet I got in the actual size of my wrist in the size 17. The SA advised me of the issue of screwing and unscrewing the bracelet too many times. Now I'm the type of person that takes all their jewelry off at night time when I go to bed and when I take a shower. I also change out my jewelry. Was contemplating the cuff, but was afraid it would get caught on my clothing and bend, especially when I wear sweaters. I agree with your comment, if you pay as much as you do for these bracelets, they need to make them more durable to be taken on and off. Love your videos by the way - very informative!

Hi Sherry, thank you for sharing. Great idea if just sliding it in and out. You mentioned that you got a size 19 Love bracelet which I assume is a bit loose on your wrist because you can slide it in and out? When I was at Cartier, they recommend that it should be a bit of a fit on the wrist and not loose as it’s not a bangle. Is size 19 your usual Love bracelet size or you got a bigger one for the purpose of sliding it?

@@Diana1110 HI Diana, size 19 is not my usual size, my fit is 17. I wanted to get the larger Love in my intended size, but because I knew I was going to change it out often, it led to my decision to go bigger. Hope that helps.

Yep! It fell off my wrist, the Love Bracelet. I want to sell it. It difficult to take it off/on it’s so annoying too.

That’s the reason I’m afraid to get the JUC! I hope they go back to the old mechanism-seemed much more secure imo

Wondered if u got a defective one. I have my JUC over 4 yrs and not never fall off. I’m pretty active. Hike and work out all the time w it. No issues at all.
