the brain has a box it's 50% emotional, 50% physical, you better believe trapped emotional trauma in your body causes physical pain. I whole heartedly agree with Dr Sarno's work and the work you are doing. I am currently going to commence a counselling technique called the journey to clean my house of the emotional pain. You have to do the work live your life like there is nothing wrong and you will be amazed with what you can accomplish

I had to pause to say thank you for providing the free content here on youtube. You helped me buy into journaling more than anyone else. Started lustening friday, started journaling yesterday (sunday). I set reminders on my phone. Thanks for everything! And btw, this video seems perfect for me today. Monday and anticipating some very long tough days. I'm a social worker, bachelor-level, in-home counselor. I was working toward my masters but got stopped in my tracks with chronic pain and felt i couldn't endure working, school, and being a mom any longer. I've had suicidal thoughts from my pain. Some will understand. Too many, im sure. But i digress. Thank you again, Nichole and anyone who supports anyone, including yourself, in this. Save your own life! (I also put that phrase on my phone) :)

I had the good fortune to be found by another patient of Dr. Sarno. She came to me and helped me get rid of my pain (Her name is Laura Skutch), and in just two months I was 80% pain free 80% of the time. I'm now 95% pain free, 80% of the time. I do everything I was told by my doctor not to do, and I've shared my success. Today, finally, someone got in touch with me and said thank you to me, because I had steered her in the right direction which led to you, and you have helped her. She is feeling better. Yes! Those of us that recover because of Dr. Sarno, need to share, and if we only help one person in our lives, that is GOOD!

I am watching this, while wearing my Unicorn Onezie. I could go on an on about everything else in this video because it gave me great motivation to heal (I won't bore you with the details) But your Daughter's Unicorn onzie, sealed the deal. I'm buying the course. Please give her partial proceeds 🤪 😀

Thank you so much! A very interesting thing happened today - I started to journal and as I was doing it I felt nauseous, hot, in agony, so I stopped journalling. I have had pain in the same places, but in other, completely unrelated areas too over the past few days; plus, my knees swelled up (there is and never has been anything wrong with my knees!) I watched this video and literally all the symptoms apart from the "usual" pain disappeared! Seems like my mind is fighting me by trying to stop the journalling process by giving me weird symptoms that literally stop me from doing it. I am guessing this means I am on the right track! (Edited to add that I forgot to mention that when I was journaling I also had such an overwhelming fatigue that I felt as if I had taken a very strong, fast actig sleeping pill, so I literally had to stop journaling... which is exactly what part of my mind wants me to do! It is like two parts of my brain are at war... crazy interesting. Definitely on the right track here :) ) Thank you again.

You know this works the minute your pain goes away and your brain picks a different spot that hurts. I fixed my back, then my shoulder then my carpal tunnel then my gut then my hip then my knees then my feet then sciatica going down my leg then my brain gave up. One year to the day my back cramped up and I was able to fix it in ten minutes when the first time It took three months then I found the book and it took three weeks.

I already had back surgery. It is a pain that moves around. Doctors don't really know what is going on. Even if I have had surgery can this still work? I am tired of chronic pain dominating my life.

Hi I deal with chronic pain two of the worst being TMJ and trigeminal neuralgia caused by a surgery it’s 24 seven nerve pain they called the suicide disease for a reason. I’ve had it a long time now looking into the TMS protocol. I did have a question about Facebook I got on a couple other Facebook TMS sites that said they were not going to show up on my page but they did. I don’t really use Facebook actively but I don’t want everyone seeing my facebook activity. So if I join, how is it that people on my Facebook do not see that I am on your site, do they just not see my posts and do they see other post peoples posts do they see I’m on a site for chronic pain? I’m not a Facebook expert I do have an account but if someone could share how this works out appreciate it. Thank you looking forward to getting better

Someone please explain this to me. If this is a mindbody disorder, how is it possible that I have two separate chronic non stop pains that started 2 years apart and both were initiated by separate injuries?

Move? How bout the pain gets appended with a totally new non stop pain that's initiated by a new and separate injury? Not once have I heard any stories about this before which is making it difficult for me to accept the diagnosis. Who the hell gets two separate injuries that both result in non stop pains, two years part? Please, I'm desperate. Please

Does it happen that journaling can actually make you feel worse? For example, I have some negative feelings toward my husband right now, so I'm writing them down. But now I feel a lot of anger toward him. The writing has almost amplified this. Does this mean that I'm on the right track? Should I look for a resolution in my journaling?

I would only write down positive affirmations in your journal. Only write when you're feelimg slightly good. Don't write down negative thoughts because you'll be preserving that feelimg for future reference. That's big no no. I'm not sure if this goes against what she's teaching but I assure you it's the right way to do it.

@@spookyencounters9392 You have to write your truth! That's the whole idea in JS and to get well. She just needs to get it out in her journal and then process it with herself and then present it calmly to her husband, and discuss ways to rectify the issue.

I heard you say, and i had a pain doctor say that opiates don't help with pain. It helps mine, so I don't understand that? Because the govt into crazy making right now due to opioid deaths, the medical practice seems to be parroting this idea even when it's not always true. I've been diagnosed with TMS but I also read that you can have both TMS and a structural problem.
