Strangely enough this song didn't even get in the top ten here in the uk there best charting song was letter from america which got to no.3 there cover of king of the road reached no.9 beating it as well, but this is such a sing along song it's this that get's remembered

I’ve seen a video of a security guard checking Brian May’s lanyard, I’d imagine almost every artist, no matter how famous, at a big event would have some kind of security to clear. Some just choose to hide their lanyards more than others.

This is probably the most iconic Scottish song ever since it's known worldwide. Love this song! Even David Tennant and the Doctor Who crew made a music video with these guys when he and showrunner Russell T Davies left the series.

Watching the crowd fully enjoy the show and singers perform from bottom of their heart give me chill. Imagine being one at this concert, I would have passed out for sure. What a show I would say 100%

I remeber doing the doors at a we pub in Rutherglen in scotland and it was a 21st party as soon as this came on the whole place was jumping forgot i was working and i joined in what a night thank you Rutherglen for the memories what a bloody amazing night
