The upside to having a phone at a concert is reliving the moment, I wish I could go back in time to when Slipknot played in Corpus Christi, Texas in 2008 with the phone I have now, I could've got the moment where Christopher Fehn ran through the crowd and pushed my sister out the way

@@Chan-zv5kb Freddie was the best frontman, Bowie was the best solo artist. And together they were pure magic. Also, my heart was broken when each of them died, over 25 yrs apart. I may be agnostic, but I like to think that they're rocking out together now, fronting the best band in the afterlife. Jimi's on lead guitar; Chris Cornell's got rhythm and backing vocals; Cliff Burton's on bass, handing off to Lemmy when he wants a go; John Bonham and Neal Peart are having week long drum-offs, and Kurt Cobain's just layering some extra guitar noise over everything. This is an afterlife I could really get into.

"From the vibrant heart of India, here's a shoutout to Queen's electrifying performance of 'Radio Ga Ga' at Live Aid! Just introduced my 8 and 11-year-old kids to this gem, and it's mind-blowing to see them choose Freddie's voice over AI-generated tunes. This song has leapt across generations and technological leaps, landing right into their hearts. Watching them air-drum to Roger's beats and mimic Freddie's iconic moves is a joyful reminder that some melodies are truly immortal. #QueenMagic #FromIndiaWithLove #EternalMelodies"

Tens of thousands of people, no living through a smartphone, living in a moment of pure musical magic , to work a crowd like that, and bring that amount of people together , to forget everything in that moment but just be in that moment , feel it, live it and to re live it years later, no words , just something else ❤️🔥

I read somewhere that this was voted as THE greatest live performance in the history of music. Well deserved!

Sadly the audience participation probably wouldn't happen today because everyone would have a phone in their hand.

This is the best live performance of all time. It will never happen again. People don’t even have free hands to clap anymore, they would be recording on their phone and only half watching it.
