First ride reviews when you only have a few hours to film everything make it hard to pick it apart. As soon as we have one to spend more time on it we'll dive into more details. As a 190lb rider the suspension was too soft for my preference, however it's much better than a lot of the other bikes out of the factory so it's hard to be too critical there. Suspension was similar to a Talaria with the upgraded Factory Fork or Ventus with the Gravity fork. Unknown what the reliability will be like at this point. It also comes with 7/8" bars which is a strange choice, but not that big of a deal as the MX market has bars in these size. Can't wait get one into our shop and do more bike setup on it and more in-depth and well rounded review and riding on it and put it up against other bikes in its class.

Did they choose 50s vs p45b cells for cost? From real world stuff I've read, 50s doesn't really like 20kw usage, especially at lower state of charge. The 50s also seems to generate much more heat causing damage at 20kw. Plus less cycle of life at peak. The p45b seems like a much better choice, especially for newer higher output bikes. 45a peak usable, less head during discharge, longer life cycle. So while it's a claimed 22kw bike, for how long? Seems like something to think of with the type of cells used. Anyone have thoughts on this?
@euc_bbq14 күн бұрын
I can almost guarantee the main reason with going with 96v or 98v was to achieve 20kw with less amps needed. More cells in series 26s7p puts a lot less strain on the cells. It's the main reason all my bikes are 96v. I personally only use Molicel for my other 96v bikes, but to achieve 20kw for 96v 50s cells will be sufficient enough for most.

We joked about this because it's not our number, but directly from Altis and their own website. "Model highlights: Standard: 533n.m torque (39T Sprocket) MX: 601n.m torque (44T Sprocket)" It didn't make it into the video, but this number is torque at the wheel calculated by gear ratio. It's not a traditional rating, so we are still trying to clarify with Altis. For reference, the EBMX and Torp motors are rated between 52nm and 108nm. Altis' hairpin motor is likely on the high end of this scale, or perhaps a bit more in theory, because they were designed to have more torque and efficiency. Not a definitive answer, but hope this helps explain a bit.

Why did they skip over the range? This makes me so worried
@ChargedCycleWorks12 күн бұрын
Don’t be. We also did a 12-13 mile night ride after forgetting to charge it. The range is equal or more to all the other bikes we’ve ridden lately (2.0, 3.0, MX5, etc). This video was an introduction and initial impressions. Next videos will be potential mods, trail rides, and range tests.

It wasn’t bad, but luckily the other ones fit. We’ll probably install our EXT Arma w 550 or 600lb spring.

Fastace is solid. If thats what they are then i have no complaints

Put that on a real track, not a mini track. I’d ride it really aggressively and see how it matches up with a normal gas 250f. I’m worried about the suspension because it looks Super soft to me. Can we see some high speed aggressive riding? Let it bottom out and flex the frame so we can see it’s limits. 🤙

We initially thought so as well, but it didn’t feel low when riding it. No doubt future versions will have taller suspension.
@paratrooperz17 күн бұрын
so its not a good wheelie bike? that new e ride pro sr is evil all it wants to do is loop on you so it probably has a larger rear sprocket making it torque that wheel off the ground. im impressed the look is way better but red is not a good color for a dirt bike
