It's a little sad that it is hard to fully appreciate greatness until it's gone.........the Professor has had an impact on every basketball fan or player that has ever watched him play or watched his videos. Salut, I loved P.G., he garnered many fans in Indy. After a horrific injury, having the support the entire state, hr made an incredible comeback. Things looked very bright for him and the team, especially after he announced he wanted to become the greatest player to wear the Indiana jersey. But before the year was up, he was undecided on whether he would return as a Pacer. Paul then made the choice to hold out and forced a very late trade putting the team in a very difficult position to execute a desirable trade. In what looked like a terrible deal, we ended up with some great players receiving Sabonis and Victor O....two of the toughest. But the facts are, though he might love his basketball, he broke the hearts of a team and a state full of his fans, those ready to boost him upon their shoulders.... and he still turned away.
