People who defend this game don’t understand the hype that was leading up to this game. Since the Ezio era people have been clambering for an AC in Japan. It just made too much damn sense. Then they gave us a black samurai whilst disrespecting Japanese culture with marketing/story beats etc. They just kept taking L after L. God I hope this is a wake up call for people.

No one project causes the entire collapse of a company. It’s takes a combination of failures and shortcomings which I listed out that lead it down a path to bankruptcy. The point of this video was to argue that animus hub will be apart of ac shadows and one of the reasons the game will end up ruining the company. Just recently, they started listing their games on steam again to try to make as much money as possible and it detracts from an entirely new platform that they have been working on for years. I’m sure this is like their Hail Mary play to try to keep the company afloat

It was not really one project. It is more like bad people that are just bad humans and are bad in everything forcing their agenda into all games while not having any connection with real world and no skills worth anything. People that would cry and call you all the names because you told them to improve in their work and do a better job. Ubisoft dying was in the making for over 8 years now.

Good video + Good arguments. Ubisoft has moved their Assassin's Creed game to February 2025, but in my opinion, it was an unfortunate decision. February 2025 already has many highly anticipated game releases that players may be more excited for than Assassin's Creed: Shadows. I believe this move might cause people to forget about AC:S or lose interest in it entirely.
