The Promise of Psychedelics in Medicine - UC Davis Psychedelic Summit 2023

Dr. David Lubarsky, UC Davis Health's CEO and chancellor of Human Health Sciences, kicks off the 2023 Psychedelic Summit by discussing the promise of psychedelics in medicine.
The UC Davis Psychedelic Summit brought together national experts to explore what the rapidly evolving field of psychedelics and neurotherapeutics may mean for neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases. These new treatment types may hold promise for anxiety, depression, substance use, obsessive-compulsive and post-traumatic stress disorders, among others. The event was hosted by the UC Davis Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, the UC Davis Institute for Psychedelics and Neurotherapeutics, and the UC Davis Behavioral Health Center for Excellence.

Im so grateful to have found such a collection of incredible information and data on this topic! I just finished watching the lecture on plasticity and wow the advances that are happening the creative questions the genius engineering are truly amazing! I’m finishing my master of neuroscience and seeing how research is now being conducted to study psychedelics in all their greatness and importance is so scientifically spectacular and beautiful!
