I've said this in a bunch of "killing Ulfric videos", but here we go again: it's been sort of a tradition, in my runs, to kill Ulfric with a soultrap enchantment imperial sword named 'Ulfricbane'. It's these little things that make Skyrim an amazing game.

Kill Ulfric, Kill Tullius, become the High King or Queen of Skyrim, proceed to annihilate the Thalmor influence in Skyrim, strengthen relationships within the holds whiching weaker jarls for more powerful ones regardless of political opinions and crush any attempt of Thalmor retaliation against Skyrim by using that and the natural freezing environment. Proceed on a larger scale if desired by strengthening relations with other lands or become a vampire to be a imortal keeper of Skyrim. That's the plan I wish I could put in practice. But in my newest run I am choosing the imperials merely for the fact that I refuse to remove Balgruuf as Jarl of Whiterun :D

There's one specific nordic ruins in game, the one with the Argonian and the woman looking for treasure in Gathrik's tomb, where on the throne of the Draugur boss there's a steel axe with a fire enchantment that burns the target AND fills a soul gem upon death enchantment. It's rare to have a duel enchantment in game so I always take that axe and destroy it at the crafting station to learn its enchantment. You should craft your own weapon of your choice with its max enchantment to burn Ulfric as his soul leaves his body and you capture it. Fun fact about it---is in game it's technically regarded as a fire spell (possibly a bug to obtain duel effects), as npc's comment for you not to burn things. So IN THEORY---even protected npc's with a (____ is too powerful for effect) may be bypassed as it is considered a spell and weapon. I have yet to try it out.

If it weren't for Ulfric, the Thalmor would've been able to do whatever they wanted in Skyrim (and they kinda already do). I recommend checking out a video titled "Why the Stormcloaks HAVE to win" it's a pretty interesting video talking about the Thalmor's true intentions, and how the Empire is weak and crippled and can't do anything to stop the Thalmor.

If I'm an a dunmer, altmer, kahjit, or argonian, then I'm with the imperials. Everything else is on a whim. The stormcloaks are doing what's objectively best for their own people and at the cost of everyone else. The imperials are doing what's best for the empire and most of its people at the expense of Skyrim.

However i would argue the stormcloaks have a stronger position within the argument due to stuff like a Talos apparition literally straight up saying the Empire is too old and doesnt work anymore and should go away and be replaced with something else. I think its pretty strong considering if your literal God emperor founder of your empire straight up tells you he thinks you should end it. Then i think you oughta listen lmao. - Also, not trying to justify racism here haha. But the nords have very good reasons to suspect those entering wilhelm etc of being spies etc as its a REALLY common occurrence within lore for that to happen.

I think it's because of the stormcloaks ideals being easily compared with racist ideals. I have seen racism ingame on both sides of the coin, but the game storytelling itself shows high emphasis with the stormcloacks having low tolerancy for anyone who isnt a nord. I think thats the main bad side of the stormcloak side and the empire have its main bad side on having corrupt and greedy ideals, but its just easier to get along with the last mentioned, if you are a content creator.

@@mmgg1671 The Thalmor is a High Elf political faction/movement, not a race. It does promote High Elf supremacy and racism though. The Empire didn’t want Elswyr to fall. The Elswyr Confederacy was its vassal state. The Thalmor occupied it when the Empire was in a state of turmoil and earned the allegiance of many Khajit due to the controversial moon prophecy that they may or may not have played a part in. Many Khajit, however, still resist Thalmor authority since the Thalmor clearly wish to treat them as second-class citizens. The Empire hates the Thalmor. You understand that, right? No Imperial likes the Thalmor. The Empire is preparing to fight another Great War against the dominion.
