I love Arthurian legends. As deeply & psychologically tragic as it might be, it’s beautifully spoken and written. Long Live King Arthur !

Merlin is truly sneaky bastard, when you see how from the beginning, from Uthere to Arthur how he manipulated all the events(evean thought he is a fictional charachter). But still in some sense he is more honorble than Arthur

In all tales of Mordred and Morgana, nearly all of them state that Morgana drugged and did the deed with Arthur, thus Mordred, thus nearly all of them end with the following: Mordred finds out that Arthur is his father, Arthur rejects the fact he is mordred's father, thus rebellion and the eventual mutual kill. Only one adaption seeks to want to reconcile the two and their differences and wanting to treat them as 1 thing: a goddamn fricking family, as both seek to reconcile their differences, plus this series has possible further implications on how they can reconcile the relationship and that series is called fate

The horse having to be repeatedly asked for bit like when Arthur asks his knight to cast away the sword near end when he's laid low from wounds..? And Merlin taking different forms is also a test of hospitality.. repeating requests as a test of sincere desire, and how welcoming you are to a stranger..both are Christian virtues, but they're set out in a human accessible way as Arthur had flaws even Merlin did!!
@aubreyackermann84323 жыл бұрын
Merlin seems to have more in common with Odin. Prophesy, a knack for disguises, testing hospitality, cryptic advice and a manipulative streak- all traits of the Germanic trickster god concerned with war, death, trickery, poetry, wisdom, and wandering.

I don't think Arthur claimed the Questing Beast out of greed or altruism. I think it was simply because of how his mind was broken with the dreams. That's just my interpretation from when I read it though. Also, about the kid thing. If some random kid comes up to me and tries to tell me something he should know much less than me about (which is my heritage in this case), I will give him no respect. Treating a child with respect comes when a child does not overstep. If he had provided some form of credibility, despite being a child, that'd be a different story. But, as it is, he was a random child who is curious about Arthur and then acts like he knows Arthur better than Arthur does.

I think iv only sern a few versions of king Arthur eere he dosnt have an unknown baby with one of his half sisters because there have been stories where he has to have sisters or most of the time it's just the one who has sister Morgan Le Fay there was one story I swear I read somewhere where he had more than two sisters he had like 12 or more but I was really young when I read this so I don't really remember 😅 I really hope if people keep adapting King Arthur especially nowadays they leave this part out cuz I get sick of reading this cuz I'm like oh this is what stuff gets worse for him and is always comes back to sleep with what his sister's for some reason we just keep this part of the storys XD Just let him have his downfall in another eay or i dont onow just let him be king have hard ships that dont lead to making kids with hus sister and just let him die old 😂
