O Allah! I complain to you of my weakness, my scarcity of resources and humiliation before the people. O Most Merciful! The Lord of the weak and my Lord too! To whom have You entrusted me? To one who does not care for me? Or have You appointed my enemy as master of my affairs? So as long as You are not angry with me, I care not. Your favor is abundant for me. I seek refuge in the light of Your Face, by which all darkness is dispelled and every affair of this world and the next is set right, lest Your anger or your displeasure descend upon me. I desire your pleasure and satisfaction until You are pleased. There is no power (to do good) and no might (to refrain from evil) except with You.

YA ARHAMAR RAHIMIN, ANTA RABBUL MUSTAD’AFIN, WA ANTA RABBI. ILA MAN TAKILUNI ILA BA’IDIN YATAJAHHAMUNI AW ILA ‘ADUWWIN MALAKTAHU AMRI. Exactly! Disbelieving people with their show of worldly things try to persuade us and take us away from Allah Rab ul Izzat. But we have to always remember, life is about balancing life and afterlife. We should not be persuaded by Shaitan, our Nafs and the Worldly life. Allah Rab ul Izzat can forgive minor mistakes but may he protect us from major sins in his eyes. Ameen!

Meaning of the Duaa: To You, my Lord, I complain of my weakness, lack of support and the humiliation I am made to receive. Most Compassionate and Merciful! You are the Lord of the weak, and you are my Lord. To whom do You leave me? To a distant person who receives me with hostility? Or to an enemy You have given power over me? As long as you are not displeased with me, I do not care what I face. I would, however, be much happier with Your mercy. I seek refuge in the light of Your face by which all darkness is dispelled and both this life and the life to come are put in their right course against incurring your wrath or being the subject of your anger. Seeking refuge The Prophet seeks refuge in Allah's face, asking that he be protected from anger and wrath. Forgiveness The Prophet forgives those who caused him harm and hopes that Allah will make them accept Islam if their children do not. Submissive The Prophet submits to Allah until he earns his pleasure.
