This is a lovely film and so nice to see Alan Ladd’s real son playing the part of the son David. Really good film and would fully recommend this great western to others. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤗

Always liked Alan Ladds voice in movies. A very strong masculine voice. A real character actors voice. Not a lot of mumbo and jumbo.

There's something really sweet and endearing about this movie -- and particularly the closing scene, as Chandler and David return home to Lilith with their dog Lance. I've always loved this movie ..

I think that one of the most touching scenes in this movie is when at the end, Linnett finally reaches out and takes Chandler's hand as they're all walking back to the farm. Prior to this scene, David is the beneficiary of all of the physical contact and affection that she clearly also wants to share with Chandler. But in the closing scene -- she gets the horse, she gets the dog, she gets the boy, and she gets the man -- you go, Linnett! 🙃

AN EXCELLENT WESTERN. Full of emotion and little violence which depicts the values of most folks in the past which has regrettably changed to the worse nowadays.
