I was in High School during the Vietnam War. It was our "age group" which were drafted to go to war in Vietnam. I remember very clearly ---- that those who would be wounded & for whatever reason didn't have to go back to fight ---- they told us that "the children AND the women were also killing our men." It was very tough on our men --- many were so "messed up" they could never live a happy, healthy life when the returned from the War.

Some libertarians like Murray Rothbard expressed a view that most of the South Vietnam "Viet Cong" or Viet Minh didn't know so much about Marxist Theory. They simply wanted their farms and donkeys without French or US or their pro-West govt inflicting pain on them. Those who did, sided with Uncle Ho because he represented that Resistance. Whether or not to end results after the war met that promise. I was too young to go, but if it had gone on another decade, I might have. Israel is a completely different issue but stupid Leftists are pushing the frame it as the same. Palestinians are the imperialists and colonialists, temporarily weakened, eager to get back on top. Israel is the anti-colonialist force. Arabs stole Jews' land in Hebron and Gaza and other cities, ethnic cleansing. What's your thoughts on that view of the Vietnam conflict, beyond the fact that female civilians or soldiers also engaged in military violence.

He had two important points which got cut short because of time. 1) The enemy has learned to make the other side have sympathy towards their evil cause by conditioning them to think that it is a noble cause created by their people's own actions, thereby splitting them into two opposing camps against each other (divide and conquer). 2) The best way to win psychologically against an Arab society is to find ways to shame them, not by western moral standards, but by an Arab standard, which in this case was becoming demoralized by seeing images of droves of men, giving up and being stripped down to their underwear. This is why the US State department stepped in, because their Muslim advisors saw that Israel's military information department had hit apon an effective strategy, so they turned the shamming around on the US for allowing Israel to do this with more divide and conquer counter strategy. Israel needs to become more tone deaf to America and the nations, plus Israel needs to bluntly counter strategize by revealing the enemies insidious shamming and divide and conquer strategies and hie it is working on Israel's brain washed liberal media and deceived public and Israel's liberal allies and their deceived public. It needs to be revealed distinctly, succinctly, and pervasively in the social media, and also with short slogans.

Hard to win when your military leadership, press, judiciary, and all but a handful of people in the government want to lose. I lost an Israeli Christian friend who just could not accept that God says He will save only 1/3 of the Jews who enter the Tribulation (Zech.13:8 & 9), but the more I learn about Israel today the better I understand God saying that. Many Israelis might as well be Hamas. Very informative and troubliing show. Thanks Dr. Schleifer & Caroline. You need to realize that the United States - and all of the formerly Christian countries - are no longer your allies. Many of their people support Israel but the governments do not. It is interesting that in Psalm 83 the Psalmist asks "Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD."

I do wish presenters would just let their guests speak and not constantly interrupt to break it up with 10-minute monologues or whatever. Asking questions to get to direct the topic is fine, as is suggesting translations when they get stuck finding a word, but other than that please wait until the end of the point before jumping in with the next monologue - the length of which sometimes causes the guest to lose their train of thought and not finish what they started. Ok, rant over. I'll shut up about it now I got it out of my system. :) It was an interesting topic despite my over-sensitive irritation expressed above. To the question of why the army publicizes the Hamas videos, I'm surprised no one mentioned the anticipated effect it might have on foreign bodies. Although misguided and ill-conceived in my opinion, I think playing to the world stage is a big part of it. Maybe they think seeing how evil Hamas is will sway world public opinion towards our side and buy us more time to finish the job. This whole time, world opinion, I think, has played a bigger consideration than Israeli public opinion. After all, what power do we actually have? We can't issue arrest warrants or apply sanctions or cut off arms supplies.

The pictures from thehostage-tunnels just made me even more angry, frustrated and strengthened (not that it wasn’t stromg before) the wish for total victory against Hamas ! I agree. I just saw a fairly new interview the other day of one of the hostages that was in the tunnels for 50-something days and, it did the same thing to me. Which was remind me of how bad the people and especially the hostages and victims of Oct. 7 had and have it. I know that Sweden is dealing with the same problem just on a different level. I’m in Alabama in the U.S. but, I hope and, need to be praying really, for Sweden to stay Swedish.
