I also love that you covered Carla’s “don’t leave me”, it’s rare that ppl address it. It highlights my favorite thing about the show which is that the characters feel like real ppl. Ofc she wants her kids to be safe but in that moment about to face her death she breaks just a little cause of course she would, who would want to be alone in a moment like that. It breaks my heart every time. I hope you do more AOT in the future!!!

What I overlooked before is Mikasa's consistent action to what we learn about her in like the next volume. Her "I can't" may not refer just to that she couldn't stop Eren but may also reinforce her stand on not leaving Karla her adopted mother to die as she has already seen her first mother murdered right in front of her or just that she doesn't want Eren to go through the same thing as when she says that she goes to help Eren getting Karla out once again after a bit o a stutter. And her looking away when Eren doesn't also fits that she already saw it once

It's also intriguing thinking about fighting a Titan because part of me would want to fight them but I don't really think it's possible to win. So as much as I hate it that mom has to stay behind. I love that mom because I can see she really loves her children. Dancing to my geans or not I know I have always felt protective twords my family members. I often have dreams about fighting to protect them agenst all kinds of things. I remember one dream me and my little sister were hiding behind a large recliner and they kept getting closer so I jumped out to fight them so they wouldn't find us both. attack on titan is revolutionary as far as anime goes at least in my eyes it is i started out watching bleach an old school anime that will always be near and dear to my heart. bleach showed me or introduced me into the world of anime and attack on titan shook up the foundations of that world and really showed me what anime can be. hopefully that makes some sense, in short attack on titan is epic and i believe if i am not mistaken one of the later episodes specifically s3 ep17 went on to earn a 9.9 out of 10 stars on imdb not many shows or movies do that lol.
