I get just as excited to watch ptxperience videos with you as I did for superfruit Saturdays. What happned to those? Would love to see you continue on to the next year of ptxperience after this one is done. Maybe throw in a week or two of songs you haven't done in between ptxperience years. Since they're not putting out new music currently until they get their label situation figured out. They have 2015; 2018,2019 and the beginning of 2020 before pandemic. Plus a few years of Christmas ptxperience. Whatever wasn't posted to KZbin was made into compilation video by a fan that could be broken apart to view. Since they put them on in order that ptx released them to twitter. Byw Kevin didnt learn to Beatbox for pentatonix. He already knew how. It was the viral video of Kevin celloboxing that Scott saw that made him decide he wanted Kevin for the sing off. Kevin almost didn't say yes but decided to just give it a shot. Now look where they are today.

That was fun to see again. Scott is adorably competitive. Kevin was beatboxing as a teen with performing friends. He was making sounds (as a kid) which kinda drove his parents nuts. Imagine a long road trip with 3 kids in the back seat with Kevin making "sounds" back there. lol. Beatboxing while playing cello is how Scott found Kevin on KZbin to ask him to join them to audition for the Sing Off.

kevin and the girl (alyssa) did actually end up dating for a year or two but they broke up. i remember her tweeting some shady tweets afterwards. kev is now married and has a one year old baby girl with his wife leigh!

Kevin's family lived in KY, but on the Ohio River, so kinda North. Plus he went to prep school in New England so he must have had snow growing up and in high school.

Kevin grew up in Kentucky but he went to college in Connecticut at Yale University. Avi and his sister Esther are from Visalia California in the central valley 4 hours away from either San Francisco or L.A. in the country. Kevin was beatboxing for a long time. He was on From the Top at 17 playing saxaphone and beatboxing at the same time.

I only ever went tubing once where it had that type of hook system. (This was after I tried snowboarding and that was even more of a disaster which is why I switched over to tubing I wasn't even about to try skiing at that point). Anyway person in charge of hooking the tubes up to the hook I guess hooked mine up too high on one of the trips because at the very end there was a dip that your tube would release into, giving you enough time to get out before the person behind you was going to be released.... except my tube didn't release... so I fell out of it as it started to get lifted into the air to go back around and hit the ground hard... so the person behind me ended up landing on top of me. I've never been back not wanting to try my luck again haha
