The trouble is, the right went left. The Conservatives now are not a right party. They would probably flinch at you referring to them as 'right'. We now have Reform to represent the right, however they are a new party in a historical 2-party system and many people feel like they can only choose Labour or Tory. The one thing you learn as you get older is that “Meet the new boss, same as the old boss” holds true. I’m not for any side politically, but time wise it is time for a change but only in the sense of it’s just pretty much how it goes for every essentially two party system. We live under one side for long enough that we start to think life’s problems are because of that ruling party, so the tide turns and the other party comes in, people start happy because they have hope that things will get better now, and in the short term they might because there’s kind of a collective want for it but then time goes by and life goes back to normal and all the problems of life remain and thus we’ll carry on until we again reach a point of “no more” and change back to the other side. Yesterday we were blue, today we’re red, tomorrow we’ll be blue again and preparing to go red. It’s a cycle.
