And for good reason, because online that can lead to rabbitholes which cause minors to get hurt. But the reality is that 18-19 are still teenagers and arent fully developed or magically grow up. They arent someone whos a danger to kids but they are someone whos not exactly the kind of person who should be looked up to online because theyre not an idol, theyre a very young adult with hypersexuality issues who shouldn't broadcasy these issues to minors online. His behaviour is in no way harmless especially with the outing of that old friends SH but his behaviour is indicative of his age. Unfortunately acting your age online can be dangerous and irresponsible, which is the case right now. Hopefully any kids exposed to his content and that friend are doing ok

As someone who is blasian (Black/Filipino) it frustrates me that people don’t take blasian people seriously when they say their race. Even if you show your face, people still wouldn’t believe it unless they’re black. People did reach out to him and never took accountability and only made excuses for his actions. SO MANY people told him what he did wrong and he still just took it as haters being haters. It isn’t until the whole internet decided “okay fine since you don’t want to listen and just make excuses then your getting cancelled “ and now he wants to look back at his actions and admit there was misunderstanding and no accountability. You described how I feel about all of this perfectly. The whole situation has gotten so terribly out of hand in regards to people accusing him of not being blasian, not being the weight he claims to be, etc. It's so so frustrating because in the beginning there were a LOT of adults who were genuinely concerned about the way he was very clearly irresponsibly handling his audience of children who spoke out about it and even tried to get him to learn/change. I'm an adult who's also hypersexual and it has been like mildly horrifying seeing the way he interacts with his audience because (intentional or otherwise) kids are very very impressionable and it is very important for them to realize that it really isn't okay for adults to be so openly sexual around them because thinking that it is normal can lead to them ending up in very dangerous situations such as grooming. (Something I unfortunately experienced myself because I thought that kind of behavior *was* normal.) It's also very dangerous to (again, intentionally or otherwise) perpetrate the idea that people who have been groomed and/or are hypersexual can't also abuse others. As terribly unfortunate as it is, the abused can abuse. That's literally how the cycle of abuse (usually in families, but not always) works. Of course, just to be clear, I'm not saying he HAS or even WILL hurt anyone, but the wording of these things is important because, again: Kids are wildly impressionable. Sorry for the like entire essay in your comments, but I thought your video was very well done and like I said, you captured my feelings on this perfectly.

I think something that annoys me personally is how, pumpkinG does all this like post suggestive art online and they attack him but person like unknownspy and happylikeawall cab post borderline nsfw stuff(just look at older animations of unknownspy) and look at recently animations of happylikeawall, unknownspy has no age rating on her profiles and made a 100+ page doc harassing a minor and letting her friends harass them too.. BUT! In no way is he a PDF File because, that a serious accusation and there is no evidence. One thing I have seen on Twitter (I also refuse to call it X) a lot it's minors acting like he is older than he really is just to make more drama or something, I am not defending him because I agree with you with the fact that he is being really irresponsible with his platform and audience but I think people forget that he is only 19. This does NOT excuse his actions regarding posting suggestive and almost nsfw content to his accounts while having minors in his follower base because if he really wants to be "horny on main" he should at least age restrict it. I know teenagers are horny and still talk (and do) about this kind of stuff and the age restriction doesn't truly works in this regard because minors will find ways around it (lying about their age, bypassing the restrictions, etc) but that way he at least would have the defense of saying that his account are 18+ only. Now as an adult who use to do this and enter adult spaces when I shouldn't I see a lot of minors go into this spaces and get mad at the creators for their own decisions. I get it if they are scrolling on tiktok and something inappropriate shows ups, but nowadays I feel like people are starting to throw "pdf-file's" and grooming accusations around like it's nothing and for me that's sad because it feels like they aren't taking it seriously. Should Pumpkin have done some of the things he’d done? No. Did people take the hate too far? Yes and no. There were people who called for accountability and rightfully so at some points, but the majority started to swing towards racism and xenophobia which isn’t okay. Racism and Xenophobia are never okay. Being 19 while having a big presence should know the influence they can have and repercussions they’ll face. Yes many who are 19 can be stupid but to believe that many suddenly don’t know the responsibility of having any form of power and influence is lunacy especially when given the right experiences during their more developmental phases of teenage hood. Again, he’s young yes but that doesn’t absolve him for his reckless behavior that incited this whole mess. This situation really confuses me because it seems the internet culture around age has completely changed. I was taught to NEVER share your age on the internet, especially if you were a minor because it MADE you a clear target for groomers. Is the expectation now that everyone must have their age in their bio? That seems dangerous. people arent saying you have to share your age, but we’re saying if there IS an age or if its an ageless account, then you need to be careful. nobody (that i know of) is trying to make the point we need to share ages, just be mindful that you might be interacting with kids in many cases. but a lot of people DO share their ages online nowadays, so thats why its always good to check.

Out of all the other misinformed videos, Thank you for commenting on this and actually doing research. Although there are some things that aren't well-informed, I understand why, because there is so much untrue information out there. Yes, Pumpkin has apologized for many of these issues and tried to fix his way of doing things, except for the 16+ thing. He thought 16+ was okay since he thought suggestive content was suitable for 16+, so it wouldnt be overly sexual. He didn't want overly pornographic content on his main channel, only suggestive or for a mature audience. I didn't really understand this well, and I don't think many people did, to be honest. it was understood why he did it but tbh 18+ u could post more freely to your audience without so much controversy
