Great! Something I started doing years ago if I’m performing a trick that allowed me to know the card, is I’ll place back on top after dropping card to the table until they call stop like you did (with reason), then I make it seem like an after thought and say something like “you better forget your card, it won’t be a very good trick if you do” and “you know what it doesn’t matter if I see the card, I’ve seen this trick before anyway.” It gets a little laugh as I quickly pinky count two cards so that I have a tiny flesh break under the force, use the one handed second deal as a switch pretty much. Turn deck hand over and second deal the force card. *I’ve changed things with this as I get advice from others too!

Love that you're using the MxS Casino cards-- I stocked up on a few bricks of them earlier this year Amazing cards!!. The 2nd deal is one of those sleights that I am awful at-- and really should be spending much more time working on. So versatile. Amazing tutorials as always-- on a move that someday I hope to do 50% as well as you!!

The best video on this deal on youtube. The thumb tip blew my mind and now i can do it slowly, as to not all. Now i ll take 5/10 years to perfect it.

Could you suggest a trick where the rollover count would work well substituting for the Elmsley? I know the rollover achieves the same thing, but I’m looking for a trick where it makes sense to use the rollover to the table instead of the Elmsley in the hands. Thank you so much!!

As a practice keep the 1st card face up and go painstakingly slow trying to push 2 cards with your thumb instead of one. If you can nail this down the rest of the trick should be trivial.

Do you know which book consist of the impossible card divination? 📚
@SeanDevine2 жыл бұрын
There so many of those! Are you talking about one specific?
@bebsbarreau22022 жыл бұрын
@@SeanDevine effect: the magician hold the deck in his hand and turn face away through the whole process when the card is picked and even placed back THEN give the deck for shuffle without looking! Yet the card is known. The name specifically for it I'm uncertain, but you can find this effect perfomed on yt. Impossible card divination.
@SeanDevine2 жыл бұрын
Oh! I think you may be talking about the Butterfly deck performance. To divine the card in that way, you actually need a Butterfly deck, as there are things built into that will allow you to do it. You can still achieve something similar using a one way deck, that is also a marked deck. I I'll make a video on it! When you buy a butterfly deck, the tutorial for that trick comes with it.
@bebsbarreau22022 жыл бұрын
Ahhr, i doubt it had something to do with the deck. That's awesome to make a video. I played around with regular deck to achieve this effect.. tricky. Thanks!
