By far the best demonstration of a card technique ever, followed by demonstrating the technique in several magic tricks. Then demonstrating yet another card mechanic technique - the top shot. This guy is the real deal. I was paying 100s of dollars a year for a member driven series of magic tutorials. The instruction here works better for me. Your mileage may vary. AND Today when I practiced, he 7 Clubs came up! Magic!!!

I'm glad I found this, because my left pinky is "messed up" from an accident when I was a kid. Pinky breaks and counts have never worked for me. Thanks! (Oh by the way, I can't not point out the typo of WOLRD on your sign LOL.) Jim

Thank you so much. If you can do this outstanding performance with two broken pinkies - I am motivated to do this double lift. In fact a good double lift hand is worth gold.

@Steves World TV , Thank you for this tutorial. I'm trying to learn that move but I have some difficulties or I should say I'm afraid that I'm learning it the wrong way. Your tutorial is so well made that I don't understand why I fail. So here's my question : 1. I can't get the cards to pivote on the palm of my left hand so please can you tell me exactly where the bottom left of the cards should rest ? and 2. I must have passed too much time failing this the last couples of weeks because I feel like a pain in my left fore arm muscles , is it normal ? will it pass ? So sorry for my newbie question here, internet is gonna let loose hell on me for sure but I'm ready, go for it. Thank you so much anymway for this video, hope you'll answer these questions.

Awesome tutorial. I love your stuff and am just getting to this one. Question: On the push off, do you look at the deck? I find it much easier to grab two cards vs three. Thanks much.

Steve, do certain decks work better than others.
@steventaputoro5 жыл бұрын
Hey Rob! Hope your well mate. What I have found that used decks work much better than brand new ones when you are just learning. The cards stick better this way. After you are more experience any deck of cards will be a breeze!

you miss the most basic idea of the double lift. When you turn over a single card it should match exactly what turning over a double looks like. Yours isn't even close.
@MyAnalogueWatch5 ай бұрын
My thoughts exactly. This is far from the best double ever. It's a joke. Showing off like a teenager? Then this is the double lift for you!

David Blaine made a great living doing this exact double lift

@MyAnalogueWatch5 ай бұрын
I don't agree that this is the best double lift ever. Its far too fancy, like a flourish. It looks like the magician is showing off, which, if that is your style of performance then go for it. It isn't mine though. I'm a fan of The Professor's motto of everything looking natural, how you would naturally do the move. How would a layman or average person turn over a card? Definitely not like that. The Professor always said to watch and see how the move you're mimicking (in this case the turning over of a single card) is done by non magicians and then try to match that. David Blaines double may not be sloppy but its terribly showy. My double looks like I'm simply turning a card over and I am very proud of that.
@thefilmsett19564 жыл бұрын
The move looks ok but is ruined by the last twirly bit. It looks obvious and out of place
