A big red flag for me was when he called 911 & he hadn’t even initiated any CPR. If you get up and see your wife, laying at the bottom of the stairs, unresponsive with no pulse, instinctually, especially as a physician, you would start CPR. He didn’t & never mentions to the 911 operator that he knew how to perform CPR or that he was a physician, & then proceeds to take step-by-step instructions as if CPR was completely foreign to him. HUGE red flag right at the gate. Another huge red flag was that this doctor got involved with his married patient & he’s trying to help her get pregnant w/ her then husband. A relationship that starts that way w/ a doctor engaged in unethical behavior that would likely have resulted in disciplinary action by the state board of medicine & a temporary suspension of his license, doesn’t bode well for a good outcome.

I thought I knew my husband...we divorced because my teen son was argumentative and disruptive. We had split two properties and I was awarded the smaller house, the house I raised my children in. For some reason, we met at the little house for some business manner. I had already moved to Sacramento and was going to move back into the house. As we were walking to the back of the house, I noticed that the door to the basement was open. It never is open. The basement is small and the six steps deep. All of a sudden, he says to me, "I think it would be a good idea if you killed yourself." I don't even remember reacting to that or feeling threatened, and nothing happened but now, thinking back, I feel terror and fear. My husband had never wanted to part with that small house because he wanted it for our son, who was now over twenty, about 22. Oh, my God, that man was normally quiet, even cryptic, flat lining. But any man can be psychotic and I cringe thinking he had considered pushing me down those stairs. OMG.

Glad you are ok. My husband tried to strangle me in front of 4 people. When I was able to break away he hade handed our son to his brother told him to leave and not bring him back till he called him. I left to say at my parents called my lawyer. Lawyar told me I would have to go back and pretend I was calling off divorce to get my child back home so I did. That night back my son wanted to swim in the pool and my husband came up behind us and suddenly I realized he could easily finish the job so at 5 30 that morning I grabbed my child and ran to a shelter.

Women need to have more respect for themselves. Who wants a man who cannot see you evenings, weekends or on any holiday. Only a woman with no self respect would want a man who offered so little. Further, he will be half the man you started chasing if he divorces his wife. The courts will take 40 - 50 percent of his paychecks and at least 50% of his current wealth. Married men should be seen as "not worth it" to single women. To any woman cheating with a married man.....get some self respect. You are worth more than the relationship.

I broke my nose, both wrists, concussion, cuts on my face from the same type staircase, bruising all over my body and face, two black eyes I looked like a raccoon. Injured my spine but not sure which vertebrae exactly - I’d have to look at my paperwork. My whole body got swollen and one big toe was literally black. I needed surgery for my wrists- rods were surgically transplanted. I survived at 68 years of age but needed a lot of hand and physical therapy. Actually everyone does. No one except you really knows what goes on in your head. Also everyone has their "professional" face, their public one, and their "real" personality which usually only friends, family, or loved ones see. And sometimes not even then. Everyone puts on some sort of fakeness around work or new people, you only really see how someone is living with them.

Wait, he calls 911 and calls his wife a patient? If she had the pot in her hands it would’ve been the first thing to roll down the stairs making lots of noises and certainly it wouldn’t have stopped in the middle of the room neatly placed as if it were on the stove. The body would not have been to the side of the stairs either and the scarf would be sitting near the body, not that far away. The whole scene looks staged to me.

The dogs were in their crate and there were no holes from the dog's mouth on the scarf. If Suzanne fell down I would think she would try to grab on to at least one rail on the stair to stop herself. There would be blood all over the stairs also. I had fallen once down a lead staircase and had a cut on my forehead that bled all over the stairs, lowest place on walls near the stairs, my chest and face. I was a child and actually scared seeing all the blood. In comparison, Suzanne's stairs are pristine.. No blood except in the bedroom. It doesn't make sense.

@@persephoneszeliga No, regardless. They may boil on the inside, but they know how important it is to be able to talk clearly and calmly to 911. In general, and not referring to this case in particular, but: If they allow themselves to slide into hysterical, incoherent, crying rants, it will take more time for the operator to figure out what the nature of the emergency is. Nobody knows that better than medical professionals. Time is everything in a situation like that, especially when it's a loved one. I'm just saying that calmness in itself isn't suspicious. I have heard 911 calls where people who are crying and dramatic on the phone turn out to be the actual killers. What they say can be a clue, but the WAY they say it? Not so much.
