The Pwnagotchi Project: MacOS Internet Connection Sharing

This video is just a quick video for the Mac users out there on being able to SSH to your Pwnagotchi as well as enabling Internet Connection Sharing.
I performed this on an Intel based Macbook Pro running Monteray 12.7.2

I am not a Mac user by trade and have limited knowledge of the Mac operating system but I tried to be as clear and concise as possible.

lol nice 👍🏼 squid helps, its vulnerable though so I’d shut it down everytime you’re done with it. Mac is similar to how Linux works when it comes to shell code.

I have tried everything. I can see it. I can SSH to it. I can use filezilla and ftp to it. I can not get anything to share the internet with it. I have tried my Mac M1 Air. I have tried both of my Windows computers (Win 10, and Win11). I have tried linux. I had a pi01. I just replaced the pi01 with a pi02. I am now running 2.8.2. Everything works. I can not get this thing to go to internet. I want to install the PiSugar plugins. I want to install any updates. I can not get this thing to connect to the internet. I was thinking to switch my network to 10.0.0.0 network and manually set the IP for the device and plug it into a usb ethernet adapter and ssh into it across the my network. Not sure what else to do.

Brooooo I’ve spent like 72 hours trying everything to get a valid internet connection on the pwnagotchi and was just about to call it quits. But then I saw this video, pulled out my dusty M1 MBP and boom, the pi can reach the net. Ty

Woah! help... going crazy! My wifi is running on a 10.0.x.x address and not a 192.168.x.x so when i set up the pwnagotchi with ip 10.0.0.1 for RNDIS/Ethernet Gadget i think there is a conflict. Meaning i can only ssh in raspberrry when i turn off my Wifi? I one point i see the two of them "green" connected and run the internet sharing script but cannot connect to raspberry pi using ssh pi@10.0.0.2 .... How can i make this work - thanks

Same as you would with your phone, just add your Mac’s MAC address to the config.toml.
