I run mine with Furina almost always, meaning my Arlecchino basically only ever has half health, and even then she never dies. She deletes everything long before that. Her burst is just there for emergencies. Hu Tao is even less worrying. Their HP 'mechanics' aren't even noticeable in reality. Not to say you shouldn't pull Mavuika or anything, just that the reasoning for those two always irks me everytime I see it.

Lmao you are new to the internet then. Zhongli had a entire meltdown around his release wich led to him being the only buffed unit ever. Raiden had a entire meltdown around her not working with EMC and Beidou with players sending death threats to the devs and calling her trash for only giving 20% energy to the team. Nahida had a entire section of twitter, youtube and reddit have a meltdown over her being white and that you have a moral obligation to skip her otherwise you are racist. Furina had a bunch of haters and doomposters calling her a brat and saying she is trash because she forces you to use healers whichbat the time was seen as a downgrade of Shielders. Nothing has changed, everyone following the leaks will cry, rant and have a meltdown and then the silent Majority who is 90% of the playerbase who don't follow leaks religiously will pull and love the character.

The leak followers and doomposters are ALWAYS the minority, ALWAYS. They are loud, like most minorities are but it doesn't change the fact they are a minority. Its no different than the whole Genshin boycott that was all over youtube, Twitter and reddit where every CC and their mother talked about it and where it got 100K signatures. Then you remember Genshin has 64 million players so that 100K that was so loud wasn't even 1% of the playerbase, or even 0.2% of the playerbase.

i really hate to be so negative but it's honestly crazy how disappointing she is for SO much of the playerbase. I think the one thing people desperately wanted was a universal pyro support so that they could finally use someone other than xiangling or bennett, and instead we got our third top tier pyro dps and she relies heavily on Natlan units in the team. It's pretty rare that I see this little positivity about a character, let alone an archon. At least Citlali seems fun enough though, she's sort of had the opposite effect where I've started liking her more and more as things have progressed

Its just as you said, archons are known tobe an account wide support buff for everyone like even zhongli whos now never the BiS option in any team is still a universal flex slot due to his all elemental res sherd and great sheilding + not interfering with the ongoing elemental reactions. Mavuika meanwhile only really as a support just buffs some natlan main dpses and a few other teams and even then not as big of a boost compared to like how furina or nahida did for their respective niches (atleast compared to XL whos free). As a pyro main dps shes already facing tough competition and while being a new dps ceiling in every lvl of investment comparison (if we include the characters having their BiS teams), the difference is quite marginal in lower investments and its more than likely if not another pyro dps, some other elemental one would powercrept her soon (think of how arlecchino on release was a MUCH higher potential ST dmg ceiling jump to the pervious dpses to her to only then get powercrept by most natlan ones less than half a patch later). TLDR: shes a good character at what she does but not a good archon considering what came before her

Why didn’t they design her kit with more off field incentives?? 😭 She could’ve been a bennet alternative too y’know. The devs could’ve designed her kit as a sidegrade for bennet by default, but also add an extra mechanic where the buffing encourages characters to move around the area instead of being stuck in one place like in bennet’s circle. The more the character moves around (as is the case for Natlan chars), the better the buffs get. So if you’re using Natlan chars, you get way more mileage, but still be equal to bennet for setups using characters who don’t move around that much (like Arle, Wrio, Navia etc). Honestly, I’m disappointed I couldn’t enjoy a more powerful off field version of her that feels like the support from an archon. It’s too early to say I know, and regardless I’ll be pulling, but I guess I just expected more from her? ☹️

I wanted her to provide seomthing special as a buff/debuff like either using elemental reactions to generate stacks to buff characters such as their level. Ex each elemental reaction trigger gives 1 stack and each stack is extra 2 levels capping at 20 for both weapons and characters upon usage of burst this lasts for 35 seconds. While this might be difficult to code, not only is it a pseudo def shred but it's a sub stat, hp, and attack boost which is massive QOL. The concept stays true to the cinder city set of triggering reactions but it also buffs things such as burgeon/reaction teams, giving a massive boost the kinich chasca and other teams while not making mualani neuv and arlecchino that much stronger due to lack of reactions even if hp scales better with level due to weapons. Finally this buffs def scaling/geo characters the most due to the fact that they are often hydrid scaling meaning they benifit form both weapons and also levels more. I would keep the dps form the same except with some nerfs but this would massively change how genshin would be played and make muavika one of the msot unique characters ever.

There's just too much to dislike. The ugly goofy bike combat. The need to pull other characters to use her efficiently. The fact that her sub dps and main dps roles use different artifacts. The fact that xilonen ended up being more of an archon than her. Her most efficient combat string is just donut spins(xiangling copycat). She doesn't bring anything new to existing teams. The only thing left is to just wait till her trail and see how it actually feels like. If she feels as clunky as Mulanie, at least I have skirk to look forward to. To add,she fills a saturated role while also being burst reliant(outdated design)

You don't need bennet, chasca can just use deyha ororon and layla. For muavika she can instead run kachina rosaria/keaya/xinqiu due to rainswords and then sucrose/diona etc. You never need to use him except for achieving optimal damage.

​@@jaffrry5120Furina isn't even the worst comparison, but there are ppl comparing her to Neuvillette bc dmg dealer vs dmg dealer, right? the thing is, Neuvi without Furina is a terrible dps and they released very soon in their region after their appearance, as well as one patch apart from each other (4.1 first half for Neuv and 4.2 first half for Furi), so getting both asap wasn't as feasible meanwhile, ppl saving for Mavuika had more patches to do so since her first appearance, something players could deduce from devs explaining AQ would end (which is when archons release) in 5.3, so for those who saved, it's quite possible to get her AND Citlali, and even then, there are 2 or them separating Mav and Xilonen, also feasible to get both and not Citlali imo

The problem is most DPS have basically zero utility outside of being on field. Natlan kind of fixed this with cider city and on/off field modes, but most teams rely on consistent reactions and multipliers. Tighnari and Yae work because they are both front-loaded in damage with a reaction that continues without a lot of both auras, but the only 2 reactions like that are quicken and burning and virtually no other DPS front-loads without hydro or pyro.

Venti (the strongest CC we had until he was nerfed), Zhongli (tge strongest shielder), Raiden (strongest ER "buffer"), Nahida (strongest EM buffer and Dendro application) and Furina (one of the strongest General buffer). As of one of Archon collector, I'm kinda whatever with Mavuika. I already have a lot of Pyro Carry and I'm genuinely tired of playing vape or mono pyro (yes i have Klee, Diluc, Lyney and Arlechinno), so another Pyro carry is not what i wanted her to be. The bike definitely didn't help. Hopefully at least it isn't clunky

The gigantic disparity between her signature and other options is very annoying. Par for the course in natlan, but it’s really dumb. Newer players who hadn’t even started the game when the mailed flower event happened are just sort of screwed. Yeah they can get tidal shadow, but then she needs constant healing for its effect to activate, which limits team options somewhat. And low refinement 4 stars aren’t great.

The A1 passive uptime is dependent on how many Natlan characters you have in the team. Only Mavuika gives 55%, 2 characters give 83%, and 3 characters give 100%

The problem with the Mavuika - Codex combo is her on-field and off-field flexibility... Ideally, you'd only build her up to 60% crit rate before the 4-pc set effect... That's when you use her as an on-field dps... However, if you want to use her off-field, you're left with 60% crit rate which as q sub-dps, that's low... Yeah ofc you have the option to change her artifacts for that... I only wish they could have added a feature on her claymore that if the wearer is off-field, the crit damage buff becomes crit rate with halved value... In that way, while off-field, she could have 77.5% crit rate without worrying it will overcap when she goes on-field... Or maybe gave her a passive that converts excessive crit rate to crit damage with a ratio of 1:2... That's more simple and effective cause you can freely use all your codex artifacts that rolled into crit rate...

Mavuika only stops spending nightsoul points after she uses her ult and stays on field. If you use her as a support, use her ult occasionally and immediately switch off it's not going to be an issue as long as you switch into her every 6 seconds or so. If the team doesn't allow that then yeah, I would agree.

Its quite a tough choice especially for a non whale. Like for me personally already having a c1r1 arlecchino and only being able to afford 2 5* next patch, granny would be a much better choice for me as the damage i would get from her melt arlecchino team would be higher than what i would be able to achieve from a similar c0 mavuika one or a c1/r1 mavuika vape using furina one. My only Natlan characters are Ororon and Kachina, so I'm not pulling for Mavuika. Idk but Natlan characters doesn't really pique my interest. The only time I pulled for a Natlan character was Xilonen but i unfortunately lost, but if she reran she's gonna be my only limited 5 star from Natlan

it looks like this will be the case for me as well. Xilonen is the only one I liked both in terms of kit and story. Well I quite like Iansan, her design is older so it looks more coherent and Genshiny that the entire Natlan cast combined, but she's going to have that goofy run so probably nope

Most skippable archon after Venti lol, saving for Snejnaya characters cus natlan was a disappointment for me. So sad we have this after amazing fontaine characters/story

Yeah if they were going to go this direction with her then they should not have released Arlecchino. Now she is just so unnecessary, i dont know anyone who does not own a Pyro main DPS at this point. I got 3 already

@@masajus1 Funnily enough Arle is better character, you are getting max 10% increase over her if you take away all the good supports for only her. If you have Arle just go for Citiali.

To be completely honest I have an autistic baby rage inside regarding Mav, or Natlan as a whole and can't see the limits to hoyo's greed. All my hype over the years for a fire archon has been killed and while I love her design, her kit and Natlan's whole gimmick, their banner schedule and everything regarding in game rewards or fanfare is just nothing compared to any other archon. All the bullshit hoyo put in Natlan was something I thought they would fix over the patches or enable through pyro mc/archon so it wouldn't be entirely natlan exlusive but here we are. It's all just piss.
