Send it to the cloud via your cell phone via the USB-C port if needed, with BMD free app. Or use the LAN port if plugged into the internet, with free app.

How much are the Blackmagic cloud plans to go with this solution? can It upload elsewhere or just to BMD Cloud?
@directorhenleyАй бұрын
2gb of storage is free which doesn’t sound like a lot but a 20-30 second clip I shot in 6k 3:1 proxies out at 25mb. And then from there you can pick how much storage you want and the cost depends on that. 500gb of storage is $15 a month. 2tb is $60. And as far as I know BMD Cloud is the only option
@marcelb.9543Ай бұрын
@ thanks man! Will check it out once I have access to the camera 😅 I think itll make content creators happy sending proxy’s directly to the edit team

I’ve been considering getting the PL mount version. All of the reviews recommend the L mount. Why did you decide on the PL mount versus what everyone else is saying?
@directorhenleyАй бұрын
Honestly just knowing I didn’t want to have an adaptor when I knew I would use pl lenses. Just felt like an extra piece/hassle that isn’t necessary
@jamarbrooks4690Ай бұрын
@ That’s what I’m thinking too. I prefer not to use an adapter when I can. Also, I want my lens to lock as securely as possible.
@directorhenleyАй бұрын
Right! I didn’t realize I’d like that so much when I moved to pl from ef

Just got the Pyxis yesterday 😎 Looking forward to try the live sync.

Aye! That’s lit! Let me know how you feel about it!

Live sync seems great for a studio environment, but plugging via Ethernet doesn’t seem practical for location work. Wish they would have put WiFi on it. Thanks for the review 🙏
@directorhenleyАй бұрын
Thank you! You don’t have to go straight to Ethernet though. I have a video coming out soon explaining the way we’ll use it

So when you say "hidden", you mean advertised and fully known?

No sir I meant Advertised and not demonstrated
@MtZionMediaProАй бұрын
@@mtscott44 advertised? Yes. Talked about? He's one of the first of many reviewers to mention it, and it's appreciated

Cool cool so you don't care about lying, gotcha.

@@mtscott44 it may have been a bit click baity, but it is useful information displayed in a way others haven't shown it-- it's a net positive, relax dude

Nah. Lying is not necessary. Call out the liars! It's never okay.
