I really like your channel. First thing first, I speak your language, cantonese, which is also my mother tongue. I am now working as a college tutor in GZ, and about to start my doctoral program(pretty much the prerequisite for those who want to be a tutor in University, I think I am luck at the point when I got recruited by my workplace as a postgraduate. ) Long story short, there are a bunch of things I can learn from your channel, so keep up the good work by sharing some useful tips with us!

Hi Vera. Here is a suggestion while you are looking for your next job. Set up a mentoring programme/network online. Offer your services to PHD/Doctoral students on getting started with the research, reading drafts, feedback on the writing, presentation skills, viva defence.. I am a part time doctoral student in the UK and looking for a mentor. Just wish I had someone to provide feedback on the protocol, ethics application and data management practices.

Thanks for the question! I would recommend this Linkedin group for PhD career networking (www.linkedin.com/groups/8476427/). In fact, I have met many helpful network who has helped me a lot in job prep, I actually have landed a job this month. I don't have any plan to offer any paid services but I have created a privat discussion group where you are welcome to post any PhD related questions: facebook.com/groups/860570264454111 Hope these resources are helpful. Also, you are welcome to write to phdcoffeetime@gmail.com where I will try to take some time to offer free feedback to your technical questions whenever I find some free time.
