Emotional intelligence is a major key I love that you addressed this. A lot of the times when we fall in love at a young age we don’t have this is why we pursue ppl who don’t want us. Going through a really rough break-up. I was always putting this person first before myself. Always loving him, caring for him, being there for him...well recently his true colors came to light. My dad was in the hospital and he never never reached out or checked up on me. It has been really tough concept for me.
