I love Balmoral. If I could, I’d go there and never leave. The highlands are such a happy place. I love to fish, hunt, and ride. I love fly rod fishing. I use my fly rod for crappie fishing with minnows for bait, as well as fly fishing. It’s easy to tell when you’ve hooked a fish on a fly rod. Scotland is breathtaking. I could easily get lost there. The Queen is so blessed to have inherited Balmoral from Victoria & Albert. I love that poem that Prince Charles wrote about the highlands. That’s exactly how I’m affected by the highlands. ♥️

I spent a whole month in the Highlands for a special school holiday, was in March, a bit on the cold side, plenty of snow but the view was spectacular. We attended church service in a small church every Sunday, came out one day and our Chaperone told us to look at the hill behind us. There was this magnificent stag standing on the hill just looking down on us. The sun was trying to come out behind the clouds and the rays seemed to shining on him. To this day I can still picture him.

HM looks rather fetching in a headscarf. I just want to cuddle her and tell her I love her. The headscarf is reminiscent of Achaemenid, Slavic and Central Asian tradition but quite honestly she makes it look good even all history aside. It was high Edwardian fashion and remains good sense in cold exposed areas to this day. Wet hair ladies was often the death of you before the advent of gas fired central heating, a headscarf with a good overcoat will still keep you safe in wet winter showers or a sustained snowfall so keep one handy just in case.

However, the event and all there participated in the purpose of planting the trees among other things scheduled for the gathering, therefore one might say the purpose or outcome was to plant trees. I have attended funerals of loved ones or the kith and kin of loved ones wherein all are requested to take a handful of dirt from the grave-digging and toss it back into the grave atop the coffin. It is the custom of some. So we all participated in burying thus and so's father or mother, though we did not actually take the body, put it in the ground and fill the grave. One often hears folks say, "We buried Dave's dad last Friday afternoon." Much of our language is not literal or refers to the purpose of the event and not to the actual behaviors of each individual participant therein.

Saw in a video once of the garden with all those trees while she tried to tell Phillip of which tree was planted when... I just love to see Queen Elizabeth interacting with the children. She's such a wonderful person and so cheeky love that about her. This was nice to see Prince Charles like this he was so attentive with the children.

Charles is a very sensitive man, always has been. Kind and gentle but was criticised in his youth for his sensitivity and his "weird" ides on climate, buildings, organic farming etc. Ahead of his time really. Very gentle person.
