How petty that the grandson who actually fought in uniform for Her Majesty's Army in wartime was denied the right to march in his uniform. Probably wasn't specified by her but The Firm's minions are a real nest of vipers. There isn't a single one of them who hasn't been in the papers over some controversy (large or small) at one time in their lives. Past time to move on now that the grand old lady had died after decades of service.
@livvymunro19292 жыл бұрын
It was not pettiness. The regulations are quite clear. When someone leaves the British armed forces, they are no longer entitled to wear the uniform. They can wear their medals on civilian dress. Can you imagine the slap in the face to the thousands of ex-military personnel who have to follow this rule on Remembrance Day if an exception is made for the King's son and brother? In fact King Charles was being magnanimous in allowing them to in appear in uniform for the fifteen minutes of their vigil in Westminster Hall. The other royals all hold roles as colonels in chief etc in the armed forces which explains why they were in uniform. Harry and Andrew lost their right to a uniform through their own actions, so don't blame others for their situation.
@puirYorick2 жыл бұрын
@@livvymunro1929 The ruling sovereign is the supreme commander of all British armed forces if I'm not mistaken so the "regulations" certainly on pomp and circumstance matters are at the discretion ultimately of said royal personage - which we did see exercised at one point to that very effect for a single occasion only.

You must forget that a certain H ‘ served’ 9 days on his first ‘ tour’, and on the second was surrounded by a security guard made up of Gurkas and SAS ,who placed their life’s in danger. When in the air ( he wasn’t the pilot by the way he never passed the test) he had other helicopters flying in front and above for protection. Then of course he and the wife have spent the last 2 years ripping to shreds our dear Queens peace of mind and legacy. Starting when her beloved husband of 73 yrs lay dying and them claiming it was a lie to stop them giving that ridiculous interview. The country won’t forgive him breaking the Queens heart.
@Diamondmine2122 жыл бұрын
He wasnt the only Prince whose “ fought” in a War. ( 1 ,nine day stint, 2nd 10 wks guarded 24 /7 by the SAS and Gurkas, with helicopter escort if he was in the air,NOT has a pilot) He walked away from royal duties to become a billionaire, His Commander in Chief ( grandmother) laid it on the line what would happen about wearing military uniforms. END OF. He’s THIRTYEIGHT not a child.

The group of soldiers who are marching @2:10 are all missing their left arms!!! I bet it’s because they screwed up and the late Queen Elizabeth punished them with the ol’ “OFF WITH THEIR ARMS” (like the Queen of Hearts’ “OFF WITH HER HEAD!” In Alice and Wonderland movie.) lol
