The church where I married my late husband had 2 aisles rather than a single in the center so we decided to have 2 processions, one for him and one for me. This version is awesome and gives some good ideas for vocal harmonies. I do think it sticks too much in that minor tonic though. The original uses the major 6th and 7th in the second half for dramatic effect, and I think that is really important and also makes it feel less depressing

The song itself is beautiful beyond vision either way so perhaps it doesn't matter,but if the Rythmn changed from the time to now I'd be interested in figuring the theory for it.
