No, she is much older, as Matimbas sired cubs in Talamatis in 2012, so thats 8-9 yrs ago, and he said that when he came 7 yrs ago she was already adult and with blue eye.. I think there is picture of her around 2010 and she was already adult young lioness, so she is around 13 yrs old or maybe even more.

She is probably daughter of the Mapogos as she was born in 2008 after they took over. Her sisters look pretty similar to them too

@@Maxibaluco i dont think so, theres no records of Mapogos mating with Nkuhumas (Talamatis occured as few Nkuhuma females run away north with Dozie and split) and Mapogos shortly after in 2009 moved south from that area and Gijima males came.. I think she might be the cub when Mapogos came and run away with her mothers or she was sired after with remaining Nkuhuma male Dozie further north.. She is very likely daughter of Nkuhuma males.

@@tr1x243 There are plenty of reports of 1 particular Nkuhuma lioness (Crooked Tail or something) mating with them in 2008, and she wasn't the only one. These 3 old females look nothing like the Old Nkuhuma males, if its not the Mapogos who sired them then it was the Gijima males, but not the Old Nkuhuma males by any means

@@Maxibaluco Dozie escaped with few Nkuhuma females further north, and those females where later know as Talamatis.. She isnt sired by Gijima males 100%,as their litter was born in late 2009/early 2010 and they split in early 2012 when Matimbas came and become Torchwood pride.

Dark Mane has the right idea...He’s still part of the coalition with his brothers but sticking with Telematie Pride as the only male about 90% of the time he doesn’t really need to fight his brothers for a meal. With his injury I’m sure he tends to get to the carcass a little late but there is still enough of it left for him to get a decent meal or if he’s with the pride he most likely gets first dibs on the carcass. I’d still like to see him with his brothers a bit more just to reaffirm their bond with each other though.

The Talamatis are, indeed, a good looking pride and the Princess is very beautiful. I did see Dark Mane on Djuma about a week ago, he was not with the other Avoças and not sure now if the Talamatis were around or not. I think he is ok and will no doubt catch them up at some stage. Dark mane Avoca was not accepted by his brothers in sabi sands. Mohawk was very hostile against him and he and Blondie moved to south without dark mane.

Never cared much for Mohawk. Ever notice that it's always Blondie that gets hurt,whenever he's with Mohawk. Same thing when Dark Mane was with them. Who knows what happens in the dark,just seems to me that ever since Dark Mane is not with them anymore poor Blondie has been hurt numerous times and never Mohawk . I just wonder about that,anyone else

The white lions are Not in the Birmingham breakaway pride. Agree she is very strong beautiful female she's the reason why they are thriving and so successful.. I can't believe. Diark Mane isn't with them.

@@paulibakker8880 are you thinking the main BH pride split now making 3 different BH prides. I don't think they split for good. Most of the sub adults are with a couple of the lioness that includes all the males and our beautiful boy with the limp. Don't take this as 100% right but I don't think the white lions have the same mother.
