My father was stationed in India in the 1920s, and played the trombone in the mounted band of the 9th Lancers.

Very sad to watch the last parade. My grandfather was in the 21st Lancers and in the front rank at the Battle of Omdurman.

I have just shown my mum this video after finding it on the 16th and 5th lancers website, it's very hard to hear you talking due to the music over the top. My mum's dad died in the second world war and very interested to hear more about the museum but couldn't do this due to the music being over powering.
