Just discovered this video. But my first endless in the games was a run that started with Geologist and Miner, with the item that makes ores turn only into rare gems after being distoryed, picked every ore possible, picked up dames and removed everything else. Had a screen of dames, emeralds, rubies, diamonds and amethysts and continued until I had 5 dames, 5 diamonds and 10 amethysts. That's basically endless because everytime the dames boost an amethysts, the gem gets +1 value. And they kept getting higher and higher. I got bored after I got a few to have over 400 value. So this is a pretty good run for anyone interested.

It's quite possible that this got explained in the stream, but this is the reason that removing symbols made it much more likely for you to get only diamonds. Hopefully it's helpful for someone on KZbin. You must always have at least 25 symbols in your inventory. If you have fewer than 25, the difference is made up by adding empties to your inventory. When you press spin, your symbols are divided into 5 groups of as close to equal size as possible, with each group being assigned to one column of the slot machine. 4 symbols are chosen randomly from each group to fill the 4 spaces in that column. However, non-empty symbols will ALWAYS be chosen before empties, with empties only appearing if there are 3 or fewer non-empty symbols in the group. Because of this, with 21 diamonds and 4 empties you get a screen full of diamonds if each of the 4 empties is assigned to a different group (so one group is 5 diamonds, the other 4 are 4 diamonds and 1 empty, but the diamonds will always appear before the empties). On the other hand with 21 diamonds and 4 other non-empty symbols, you only get a screen full of diamonds if each of the 4 non-diamonds is assigned to a different group AND none of the non-diamonds are chosen to appear. The exact probabilities are: P(screen full of diamonds with 21 diamonds and 4 empties) = 0.192, or approximately 1 in 5.2 P(screen full of diamonds with 21 diamonds and 4 other non-empty symbols) = 0.0003072, or approximately 1 in 3,300

A good way to know how far you'll go in endless, is to figure out your minimum value over a few spins, and then multiply by ten. If you're consistently making 400 plus per spin, you'll make 4k after 10 rolls. If you can't break 500 consistently, you won't make it far past 5000 rent.
