The Quest for Safe Ice

I wanted to find safe ice for some ice fishing. I had a little help from Tom at Fatal Force Outfitters who told me how he looks for back lakes. I went online and pulled up google and did a bit of searching myself. I spent the day trying to find lakes that weren't surrounded by private property and managed to find a couple. With all the warm weather we've been having they didn't have much on them but hopefully if we get some cold spells they'll lock up and we can get on some fish!

The Rainbows do indeed run all winter long. Cold water keeps them running. Once it freezes over you can get them through the ice as well.
