Brandon Blair The GTR was impressive because it's a heavy ass stock chassis car that still runs a factory drivtrain they are both very impressive for what they are but people tend to gravitate twords the underdogs more which is why people really dig the DSM.

I have a 1998 that is perfect, literally perfect. I've had it for over 20 years. Stored inside always, all original. 30,000 kms. I'll never part with it, and it has never given me a moments grief. That's nothing...hold my beer....lol. no congratulations for real, that's a nasty talon right there. Rode around many nights in high school in a black 95 talon tsi. That little 210 hp car hurt some feelings in my hometown, especially the 96 mustang gt my brother had. That mustang sounded good and looked nice, but that talon would come off the line so hard he was constant chasing me, and with only 215 hp in that 4.6, it made for some embarrassing moments for him....lol

DSM refers to those cars, but to those of us around here it referred to the place they were made. That was literally what we called the plant. Diamond Star Motors. It's about 20 mins drive from where l grew up. It was a joint project between Mitsubishi and Chrysler.

I'm pretty sure its a 97-99 eclipse front end and headlights. The 95-96 elipse looked more like the talon but diff.. The 97 up talons were way agressive and had a much larger rear high spoiler stock.
